Appcues is a customer engagement platform for product, marketing, and growth teams. It helps organizations create in-product experiences including product tours, walkthroughs, multi-step flows, checklists, banners, surveys, hotspots, and embedded content. Teams can target experiences by user attributes and product behavior, measure engagement and outcomes, and support web, iOS, Android, Chrome extensions, and API-based workflows. It is suited to product teams managing onboarding and adoption across web and mobile applications.

The published plans are Start, Grow, and Enterprise, and pricing requires contacting sales. Start supports up to 3,000 monthly active users, 10 published experiences, and 12 months of reporting history. Grow starts at 3,000 monthly active users and increases the allowance to 25 published experiences and 24 months of reporting history. Enterprise supports custom monthly active-user volumes, 100 published experiences, and 36 months of reporting history, with priority support and services support. There is no free plan, while the free trial lasts 14 days before SDK installation and another 14 days after installation.

Appcues fits teams that need more than basic tours. Its feature set combines behavior- and attribute-based segmentation, goals, funnels, campaign measurement, NPS and in-app surveys, AI-assisted experience creation, and no-code event creation through Click to Track. Integrations include Salesforce, HubSpot, Intercom, Slack, Mixpanel, Heap, Amplitude, Segment, Google Analytics, Zapier, Jira, Make, Zoho, Hightouch, and Census. Teams seeking coordinated onboarding, feedback, and measurement across web and native mobile should consider Appcues. Organizations wanting a free plan or publicly listed monetary pricing should choose a different option.
