Our verdict on AppColl Prosecution Manager

AppColl Prosecution Manager is a cloud-based intellectual property management platform for law firms and corporate IP teams. It brings patent, trademark and PCT docketing together with matter tracking for copyrights, domains, NDAs, licensing and litigation. The broader workflow also covers prior-art management, IDS Form SB08 generation, cloud document storage with revision history, billing, invoices, retainers, LEDES exports, conflict checking, e-signatures and custom or scheduled reporting. It is aimed at practices that want prosecution work and related IP matters managed in one web-based system.

The published plans show two paid monthly options. PM Pro costs $100 per user per month and includes US patent and trademark docketing, a matter database, billing and invoicing, secure document storage, prior-art management, reports and contacts. PM Plus costs $130 per user per month, includes all PM Pro features and adds automated US patent docketing, Patent Center XML downloads, e-signatures, QuickBooks Online integration, conflict checking and advanced reporting. PM Plus also includes 200 matters. A 30-day trial provides a way to assess the workflow before committing to a paid plan.

AppColl’s platform fit is strongest for teams working with official IP data and connected administrative workflows. Its integrations include USPTO Patent Center, USPTO TSDR, EPO Espacenet, QuickBooks Online, DocuSign and Adobe Acrobat Sign, while automated email intake and matter filing support incoming work. Practices should choose it when broad prosecution coverage, billing and reporting matter more than a narrow docketing tool. Teams seeking the advanced automation, e-signatures, accounting connection or conflict features need PM Plus rather than PM Pro, and organizations that require deployment beyond the web should look elsewhere.
