AplicHost Forum Hosting provides shared and VPS hosting for online communities running phpBB, XenForo, vBulletin, Discourse, and other forum software. It suits administrators who want phpBB support, one-click installation, migration assistance, unlimited bandwidth, and infrastructure aimed at database-driven communities. The service supports web and Linux environments and offers both entry-level hosting for new forums and higher-resource options for larger deployments.
Pricing spans seven monthly plans. Forum Starter costs $5.50 per month and includes an optimized MySQL database, unlimited bandwidth, and basic anti-spam. Active Hub costs $10.50 and adds Redis object caching and Imunify360 Pro. Forum Elite costs $18.99 and includes LiteSpeed Turbo and one-click script installs. Community Giant costs $34.50 and adds dedicated PHP resources and priority 24/7 support. VPS options start with Forum VPS Cloud 1 at $13.99, followed by Forum VPS Cloud 2 at $20.99 and Enterprise Forum VPS at $29.50; each lists AMD EPYC CPU cores, DDR5 RAM, and NVMe SSD storage.
The strongest case for AplicHost is its concentration of forum-relevant infrastructure and protection features. NVMe SSD storage, Redis object caching, PHP OPcache, automated snapshots, anti-spam, malware scanning, and L7 DDoS protection address performance, resilience, and abuse concerns in one hosting offering. Free forum migration assistance can also reduce the work involved in moving an existing community. Buyers should choose it when phpBB support, scalable shared and VPS choices, and forum-focused safeguards matter most. Communities that prioritize a named control panel or vendor-managed phpBB updates may prefer a host that centers those capabilities.
