AOMEI Cyber Backup is enterprise backup software for organizations protecting Windows PCs, Windows Servers, VMware ESXi and Hyper-V virtual machines, and Microsoft SQL Server databases. Its centralized web console brings these workloads into one management layer, with support for local, network, NAS, and Amazon S3 destinations. It is suited to IT teams that need scheduled imaging, recovery options, and retention controls across physical and virtual environments rather than a tool focused only on individual PCs.

Pricing is organized by workload and billed annually. The Free Edition provides basic enterprise backup and recovery at no cost. Customized plans include VMs at $99 per VM per year, MSSQL databases at $39 per database per year, and Windows PCs at $59 per PC per year; each is sold in a minimum quantity of five. Unlimited plans cost $999 per workload per year for VMs, $499 for MSSQL databases, $699 for Windows PCs, and $999 for Windows Servers. This structure gives smaller deployments a free entry point and offers predictable coverage for defined workload groups, while larger environments should compare the per-workload costs carefully.

Recovery depth is a central strength. AOMEI Cyber Backup supports bootable WinPE recovery media, bare-metal recovery for physical servers, granular and point-in-time recovery, alternate-location recovery, backup cleanup, retention policies, and encryption. VMware ESXi, VMware vCenter, Hyper-V, Microsoft SQL Server, NAS, network shares, and Amazon S3 provide a practical ecosystem for mixed infrastructure. The main qualification is that Hyper-V workloads do not support differential backup. Choose AOMEI Cyber Backup when centralized Windows and VM protection, multiple imaging methods, and recovery flexibility matter; choose an alternative when differential Hyper-V backups or a lower-cost unlimited model are essential.
