ANY.RUN is an interactive cloud malware-analysis sandbox for SOC teams, security professionals, and independent malware researchers. It supports file and URL submissions, browser-based virtual machines, real-time process and system monitoring, network traffic inspection, memory analysis, IOC extraction, and reporting. Analysis environments include Windows, Linux, macOS, Android, and multiple browser configurations, with access available through web, desktop platforms, mobile platforms, and API options.
The freemium structure gives Community users interactive analysis, basic reports, a personal license, and a 60-second VM timeout. Hunter adds private analyses, system process monitoring, a residential proxy, and JSON and MISP exports; its listed maximum file size is 100 MB. Enterprise Suite is oriented toward organizational use, adding team management, advanced privacy controls, Single Sign-On, REST API access, and premium support. Paid plans use contact-sales pricing, so teams should compare requirements with the relevant tier before selecting a subscription.
Integration depth is a major fit for security operations workflows. ANY.RUN connects with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, OpenCTI, Splunk, Splunk SOAR, MISP, Cortex XSOAR, TheHive, ThreatConnect, Tines, and Torq. Its REST API, SDK, STIX, MISP, SOC-ready reporting, and AI-assisted reporting support investigation and indicator-sharing processes. Teams that need private analyses, MFA, SSO, and centralized controls should consider the enterprise tier. Independent researchers or smaller teams may prefer the Community plan, while organizations that need longer analysis sessions, higher file-size allowances, or paid-plan pricing clarity should evaluate alternatives alongside ANY.RUN.
