Our verdict on AML Analytics

AML Analytics provides cloud-based RegTech and SupTech tools for financial institutions and regulators that need to test and validate sanctions-screening and transaction-monitoring systems. The Sandbox supports customizable tests built from sanction lists and PEP data, while Red Flag Tests and Transaction Monitoring Validator use synthetic transaction scenarios to assess monitoring performance. Analyser Online presents results through a secure customer portal. This makes the product a fit for mid-market and enterprise organizations benchmarking controls, identifying weaknesses, or supporting assurance and supervisory analytics rather than operating daily investigations.

Its strongest capability is controlled testing depth. Teams can manipulate test records to examine fuzzy-matching performance, drill into screening alerts and missed records, and review transaction-monitoring alerts and misses by segment and transaction type. Benchmarking compares sanctions-screening performance with aggregated peer scores, adding context beyond an isolated pass-or-fail exercise. ORBS extends the reporting layer with API-based reporting and live risk dashboards. The published deployment is cloud-based through the web, so the product suits organizations seeking centralized test analytics and reporting rather than a locally deployed validation stack.

AML Analytics should be considered when the priority is independent assessment of existing AML/CFT controls. It should not be selected as a replacement for an operational transaction-monitoring, investigations, regulatory-reporting, or case-management system; those functions are not presented as part of the product. Pricing is handled through contact with sales, and support is offered by email. Organizations wanting to benchmark screening quality and synthetic monitoring scenarios should find the focus appropriate, while teams seeking to run alerts, manage cases, or execute ongoing monitoring should choose a platform designed for those workflows.
