Our verdict on AmbuNet
AmbuNet brings ambulance and event medical operations into a cloud platform for providers in the UK and Ireland. Its scope spans event planning, electronic patient care reporting (ePCR), crew scheduling, fleet and equipment, medicines, governance, finance, dispatch and patient transport. Crew members can access a mobile app on iOS and Android for shifts, alerts, clinical records and vehicle checks. That breadth makes it a fit for full-service EMS teams seeking to coordinate operational and clinical workflows in one system, rather than a narrow ePCR or scheduling tool.
Clinical workflows include structured ePCRs with NEWS2 scoring, body maps and a timed cardiac-arrest log. The app supports encrypted offline drafts with background synchronization, a practical capability for crews working without a reliable connection. Beyond records, Core includes event planning, shifts and rostering, fleet, medicines management, governance basics and finance. Premium adds recruitment, deeper governance and CQC features, audits, a risk register, PGD library, payroll, overtime claims, post-event analysis and ePCR share codes. The published plans show monthly prices of £350 for Core and £600 for Premium; prices are in GBP and exclude VAT for UK customers.
Enterprise costs £1,000 per month and adds patient transport bookings, hospital portal, tariffs and auto-priced invoices, plus command-and-control tools such as control rooms and dispatch alarms. It also includes treatment centres and tactical logs. AmbuNet offers web, iOS and Android access, and finance workflows include Xero-ready CSV export; Xero is the named integration. The product may suit organizations that need transport and dispatch alongside clinical and workforce operations, but its tier structure means those functions require Enterprise. Smaller teams seeking a free or lower-cost starting point, or buyers focused on integrations beyond Xero, may prefer a more focused alternative.
