AMap (Gaode Maps) is a mapping and navigation app focused on travel and local services in China. It suits drivers and transit users in supported regions who want route guidance alongside nearby-place search. The app is free and available on iOS, Android and the web; the vendor also lists HarmonyOS downloads. Its regional focus matters: this is a practical fit for journeys in mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau, rather than a general-purpose offline map for broad international travel.
