Alma is a European buy now, pay later platform for merchants serving customers online and in physical stores. It supports installment payments in 2, 3, or 4 parts, longer 10- or 12-part terms subject to eligibility, deferred options such as D+15 and D+30, and full-payment options. Merchants can connect through ecommerce modules, payment service providers, or an API, making Alma a fit for businesses that need more than a single online checkout option.

Pricing is structured around two offers. The Standard offer has no installation fee or monthly fee, while transaction commissions apply. The Custom offer is for merchants with more than €1 million in revenue and uses volume-based pricing. This gives smaller and mid-sized merchants a straightforward entry structure, while larger businesses can discuss pricing tied to transaction volume. Buyers should confirm the applicable commission and eligibility terms for the payment options they plan to offer.

Alma’s platform coverage is a significant part of its appeal. Ecommerce integrations include Magento 1 and 2, PrestaShop, Shopify, Wizishop, WooCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Proximis, and WSHOP. Payment-provider connections include Stripe, Adyen, Mollie, Checkout, HiPay, and Lyra. The merchant dashboard adds payment-flow monitoring, while refund tools, accounting-data exports, and guaranteed merchant payment with scheduled settlement support operational workflows. Alma is well suited to merchants seeking flexible checkout financing across online and in-store channels. Businesses needing only a basic payment method, or merchants outside its stated consumer regions, may prefer a narrower or more locally focused alternative.
