Alibaba Cloud AI Gateway is a managed gateway for connecting applications with LLM services, MCP servers, tools, and agents. It is aimed at individual developers, startups, development teams, SaaS providers, and enterprise production workloads that need one control layer for AI traffic. The service is available through web and API access, with features for provider and model routing, OpenAI-compatible protocol conversion, authentication, throttling, fallback, caching, and request monitoring.
The published plans cover several deployment models. Serverless Standard includes an LLM API, Agent API, MCP Server, intelligent routing, AI security, and a token usage dashboard. Serverless Enterprise adds a dedicated entry point, custom domain names, encryption-in-transit configuration, and a 99.95% service level. Dedicated Instance options provide dedicated physical resources, 1500 QPS, and 20000 client connections, with subscription and pay-as-you-go editions listed for the Chinese mainland.
