Akeneo PIM centralizes, structures, enriches, localizes, governs, and distributes product information across commerce channels. It is designed for brands, manufacturers, retailers, distributors, and other organizations managing complex or global catalogs. Core capabilities cover attributes, variants, hierarchies, reference entities, digital assets, localized content, approvals, completeness checks, data-quality monitoring, and channel-specific publishing. Akeneo offers Product Cloud as well as the open-source Community Edition, giving organizations a choice between a managed product and a self-hosted approach.
The published plans show a free Community Edition for centralizing, managing, enriching, and distributing product information. Growth adds Data Architect Agent, Composable Products, and AI-powered description generation and asset extraction. Advanced adds collaboration workflows, advanced rights management, and channel-ready data governance. Premium adds PX Insights, enterprise governance, and 24/7 support. The pricing page shows $0 annually for the entry package, while Advanced and Premium use contact-sales pricing.
