Our verdict on Aiseesoft DVD Creator
Aiseesoft DVD Creator is desktop software for Windows and macOS that turns video, audio, and image files into DVD discs, DVD folders, or ISO files. It is aimed at people creating home movies and other personal video projects who want authoring, basic editing, and disc-format flexibility in one application. The software supports DVD-5, DVD-9, DVD+R DL, and DVD-R DL media, covering both standard and dual-layer DVD formats.
Pricing is structured around three paid licenses. The 1 Month License costs $24.90 per month and allows use for one month on one PC and one Mac. The Lifetime License costs $49.95 as a one-time purchase and includes lifetime use on one PC and one Mac. For business use, the Multi-user License costs $149.85 as a one-time purchase and covers three PCs and three Macs. There is no free plan, so occasional users should weigh the monthly option against the lifetime license before choosing.
Its feature set goes beyond basic burning. Users can select and customize DVD menu templates, import subtitles and audio tracks, trim and crop video, adjust video, add watermarks, preview projects in real time, and use hardware-accelerated burning. The product also handles DVD folders and ISO files, which adds options for storing or preparing projects before disc creation. Aiseesoft DVD Creator suits Windows and macOS users who need cross-platform DVD production with editing and menu controls. It is a weaker fit for projects that require Blu-ray authoring or broader optical-disc support.
