Agora Hosting Web Hosting review
Shared Windows hosting for Perl, CGI, and legacy Microsoft web stacks.

Agora Hosting Web Hosting is shared Windows hosting for personal and business websites that depend on Perl, CGI, ASP, PHP, or Microsoft SQL Server. It is particularly suited to legacy-stack projects that need Perl support alongside familiar hosting functions such as email, FTP, DNS zone management, and database access. The service includes a multilingual Helm control panel, automated weekly backups, AWStats statistics, webmail, forwarding, and autoresponders. Agora Hosting was founded in 2002 and offers the service through the web.
The published plans use two tiers with monthly and annual billing. Professional costs $4.95 per month or $55 per year and includes 500 MB of web space plus 10 GB of monthly traffic. Business costs $8.95 per month or $99 per year and raises those allowances to 1,500 MB of web space and 20 GB of monthly traffic. Both plans include Perl, PHP, ASP, and CGI support, so the main paid-tier difference is capacity rather than application compatibility. The one-website limit makes the service a better fit for an individual site or a focused legacy application than for multi-site hosting.
Its strongest case is breadth within an older Windows-oriented stack: Perl and CGI sit alongside ASP, PHP, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, email tools, backups, and DNS controls. That combination can suit customers maintaining established applications rather than building around a broader modern hosting environment. Choose Agora Hosting if Windows hosting, Perl compatibility, and Microsoft database support are central requirements. Consider another provider if you need hosting for multiple websites, more storage than the listed allowances, or a platform centered on a different hosting environment.
