AgentScope review
A multi-agent framework with leader-worker coordination, model routing, and local run visualization.

AgentScope is an open-source framework and toolset for developers building AI agents and multi-agent applications. It combines agent and tool abstractions with pipelines, model integrations, routing, and an agent service for running applications. Its feature set is aimed at teams that need agents to work sequentially, concurrently, or in coordinated groups rather than a visual workflow authoring environment.
Coordination is a defining strength: leader-worker orchestration and task planning support agent teams, while pipelines cover sequential and fan-out execution. Model routing and fallback help direct model calls across APIs, and a unified tool-calling interface works across model APIs. The published integrations include OpenAI, DashScope, Anthropic, Gemini, Ollama, vLLM, DeepSeek, Alibaba Cloud CloudMonitor, Arize Phoenix, and Langfuse. That mix gives developers several model and observability connections, while the category specifications identify five supported model providers.
For visibility into application behavior, AgentScope uses OpenTelemetry-based tracing and error tracking, and can connect to compatible third-party tracing backends. AgentScope Studio is a locally deployed web application for project management and visualizing running applications and traces; it is not described as a visual workflow builder. The project is presented as open source, with cloud and self-hosted deployment options, and installation from PyPI or source. Community support and documentation are the listed channels. Choose AgentScope if your priority is coordinating multiple agents and inspecting local runs; consider another framework if visual workflow authoring or a different support model is central to your decision.
