Adams Tax eFile, identified on official pages as Adams Tax Forms Helper, is a web-based service for business owners, accountants, CPAs, and bookkeepers preparing 1099, 1098, and W-2 forms. It supports eligible federal submissions to the IRS or SSA, state e-filing in supported states, recipient delivery, correction filing, and status tracking. Accounts are free to create, while filing and optional services are charged per form or credit, making the service suitable for small and mid-market organizations that prefer usage-based filing.

Federal eFiling is offered in one-time credit bands. The 1–25 credit tier costs $3.25 per credit; 26–50 costs $3.10; 51–100 costs $2.85; 101–250 costs $2.60; 251–500 costs $2.40; 501–1000 costs $1.95; 1001–2000 costs $1.20; and 2001–5000 costs $1.05. Each listed tier covers Federal eFiling, with lower per-credit prices at higher volumes. The published pricing structure is not a recurring subscription. QuickBooks Online import is the named accounting integration, while CSV and Excel imports support bulk form, payer, and recipient data.

Operationally, Adams Tax eFile concentrates the filing workflow in a browser: users can copy prior-year forms, payers, and recipients; run TIN checks; track filing status; and send recipients secure email links, postal mail, or self-print instructions. Correction filing and refiling are useful when submitted information changes. The tradeoff is a web-only deployment and a narrower integration footprint centered on QuickBooks Online. State filing depends on supported states, so organizations needing broad state coverage or desktop deployment should compare alternatives. Choose Adams Tax eFile when per-credit federal filing, imports, and recipient delivery match your workflow; consider another service when you need more integrations or a different deployment model.
