Active24 phpBB Hosting is shared web hosting for running one phpBB discussion forum. It suits forum owners seeking a low-cost starting point with automatic installation, PHP and Cron support, unlimited MySQL databases, FTP access, SSL, and a customer-center control panel. Hosting is available on Linux or Windows infrastructure, and the service supports web access. A 14-day trial gives prospective customers time to assess the offering before continuing with its paid plan.
The published pricing shows one plan: phpBB Web Hosting at €2.99 per month, billed monthly. It includes hosting for 1 website, unlimited website space, 5 GB of email storage, PHP and Cron, unlimited MySQL databases, and automatic phpBB installation. The plan also includes daily backups and backup recovery, unlimited data transfers, SSL, and hosting management through the Customer Center. phpBB can be installed automatically during ordering or later through the Customer Center. WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, and WooCommerce are also listed among the supported integrations.
Active24 is a practical fit for a small or budget-conscious forum that values simple installation and core hosting capacity. Phone, email, and chat support are available, which gives customers several support channels. The main boundary is scope: the plan is for one website, and email storage is limited to 5 GB. Forum owners who need vendor-managed phpBB migration or updates should consider an alternative with those services included. Choose Active24 for inexpensive shared hosting with backups, SSL, and a trial; look elsewhere when migration assistance or ongoing forum maintenance is a priority.
