Action Network is digital organizing software for progressive organizations, campaigns, grassroots groups, and individual activists. It brings petitions, letter campaigns, events, ticketed events, forms, surveys, fundraisers, email, SMS/MMS, supporter profiles, reporting, and analytics into one platform. Its audience ranges from people getting started with grassroots advocacy to small and midsize organizations, federated networks, and large national programs.

The pricing structure supports several operating models. The Free offering provides tools for grassroots activists getting started. Movement starts at $15 per month minimum for single, small to midsize organizations and adds advocacy tools, data and insights, email support, and training. Network starts at $125 per month minimum for federated or multi-group organizations and adds hierarchical networks and centralized controls. Enterprise uses custom pricing for organizations with 1M+ monthly emails. Boost is a $450-per-month add-on for advanced digital programs with less than 2 million emails and includes advanced deliverability and testing features. Paid messaging is usage-based, and mobile messaging has additional telecom fees.

Platform breadth is a central strength. Action Network supports targeting, personalization, workflows, and analytics for email, text-to-action campaigns through SMS and MMS, custom fields and tags, data exports, and coordination across groups. Its API and listed integrations with Salesforce, Catalist, ActBlue, Make, n8n, Zapier, and other systems can support wider operational workflows. The product is a strong fit for organizations that want advocacy, communications, events, fundraising, and network management together. Organizations seeking only a narrow petition tool may find its broader structure unnecessary, while federated programs and campaigns with varied engagement channels should find the higher tiers more relevant.
