360 Secure Browser is a free Chromium-based web browser from Beijing Qihu Technology Co., Ltd. It is aimed at users who want everyday browsing with built-in security, privacy controls, PDF utilities and productivity tools. The browser supports Windows, Linux, Android and iOS, with cloud synchronization for bookmarks, passwords, extensions and settings across supported devices. Its feature set also includes private browsing, browsing-data clearing, password autofill, screenshots, translation and download tools.
Security is a central part of the product. Malicious website and download blocking, DNS security resolution, sandboxing and process isolation address different stages of web use, while private browsing and data clearing provide local privacy controls. The browser also extends beyond page viewing with PDF reading and conversion tools, an AI assistant, AI reading tools and an extension center. For users who want security and document utilities in one browser, this broader built-in toolkit is a clear strength.
Platform coverage is broad, but the ecosystem is more contained than browsers that accept extensions from multiple sources: 360 Secure Browser supports extensions through its own store. It is also proprietary rather than open source. The official product presentation includes desktop, mobile, enterprise and Linux editions, so choosing the right edition may require attention to the intended platform. Pick 360 Secure Browser if free cross-device access, security controls, PDF features and AI tools matter more than a wide extension ecosystem. Choose another browser if access to broader extension sources or an open-source codebase is a priority.
