321Soft Data Recovery Express is Windows software for retrieving deleted files and folders from hard drives, external drives, USB flash drives, memory cards, and other storage media. It is aimed at people who need basic file recovery after deletion, formatting, or partitioning errors, rather than a broader recovery suite. Its read-only operation is intended to avoid writing changes to the source media during recovery. Support for FAT32 and NTFS covers two common file systems, while the product also lists recovery of compressed and encrypted files.
The free version recovers files smaller than 64 KB, making it useful for checking whether small files can be retrieved but restrictive for larger documents, photos, and other media. According to the vendor's pricing page, the full version starts at $29.95 USD as a one-time license. That avoids a recurring subscription, but the free allowance is not a substitute for full recovery when the files exceed the stated size limit. Buyers should weigh the one-time cost against how often they need recovery and the size of the files involved.
Quick and deep/full scan modes provide a choice between scan approaches, and advanced search and filtering can help narrow results. A built-in hex editor adds a more technical tool alongside recovery, while the listed file types include documents, photos, videos, music, PDFs, office files, applications, compressed files, and encrypted files. The focus remains basic Windows storage recovery: it does not provide bootable or RAID recovery. Choose it for affordable recovery from standard drives and memory cards; look elsewhere if recovery must cover RAID arrays or bootable workflows.
