20i phpBB Hosting is a managed cloud hosting service for individuals, businesses, agencies, and developers running phpBB forums. It combines one-click installation with unlimited phpBB migrations, a My20i control panel, automatic daily backups, and phpBB-specific support. The service is designed for forums that need more than basic shared hosting, particularly sites expecting changing traffic or requiring built-in security and recovery features.
Pricing starts with the Startup plan at £10 per month for one website. Plan 1 costs £20 per month and also supports one website, while Plan 2 costs £40 for three websites. Plan 3 is £80 for ten websites, Plan 4 is £150 for twenty-five websites, and Plan 5 is £300 for fifty websites. Every plan includes 24 x 7 premium support, automatic daily backups, and no contract with cancellation at any time. The main distinction across the tiers is website capacity, so smaller forum operators may find the entry plans more appropriate than the upper tiers.
Its strongest fit is phpBB hosting where operational safeguards matter. Dynamic autoscaling, free CDN and edge caching, SSL certificates, a web application firewall, malware scanning, and DDoS protection cover performance and common security needs. Daily backups include a 30-day restoration window, adding a defined recovery option for forum data. However, this is a paid service with no free plan, and it is available through the web rather than across multiple listed platforms. Choose it for managed phpBB hosting with migrations, scaling, and security included; choose another option if free hosting or a lower-cost, single-site setup is the priority.
