First identify where the connection fails: while linking your YouTube account, creating a live event, or sending video to YouTube. Each points to a different fix. In India, the official mobile guidance does not establish a special IPv4 setting for PRISM; an IPv4-only instruction applies to PRISM desktop, not the mobile app.
Identify the failure stage first
Write down the exact error and when it appears. PRISM’s mobile YouTube guide distinguishes account and stream-start problems, including “YouTube Login Has Expired,” “YouTube Stream Creation Failed,” and “YouTube Streaming Cannot Be Started.” PRISM’s YouTube troubleshooting guide is useful for matching the wording on your screen.

Check YouTube’s mobile live eligibility
Before changing phone network settings, confirm that the channel can go live from mobile. YouTube’s mobile live-streaming requirements specify at least 50 subscribers, a verified channel, live streaming enabled, no live-streaming restrictions within the previous 90 days, and a supported device. First-time activation can take up to 24 hours.
- Confirm that you selected the intended YouTube channel in PRISM; an account can have access to more than one channel.
- Check channel verification and whether live streaming is enabled.
- Check for live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days.
- If you just enabled mobile live streaming for the first time, allow up to 24 hours before treating a delayed start as a PRISM fault.
YouTube’s stated mobile-device threshold is Android 8.0 or later, or iOS 8 or later. That is YouTube’s feature eligibility guidance, not PRISM’s app compatibility requirement. PRISM’s mobile app requirements are higher: Android 10 minimum, Android 13 recommended, and iOS/iPadOS 16.0 or later. PRISM lists these requirements in its mobile system requirements, updated July 3, 2025.

YouTube’s mobile help lists India among countries where Playables may be streamed, subject to mobile eligibility. This does not guarantee availability for every account, feature, carrier or network. The official mobile guidance does not identify India itself as a blanket reason mobile live streaming is unavailable.
Fix account-link and authorization errors
“YouTube Login Has Expired”
This message points first to authorization, not bandwidth. Reconnect the intended YouTube account using PRISM’s supported sign-in or channel-linking flow, then check that PRISM shows the correct channel before trying again. Use PRISM’s official YouTube connection instructions if you need to repeat the linking process.

Channel connection fails without a clear login message
- Check that the account you authorize has access to the channel you want to stream from.
- Complete YouTube’s verification and mobile live eligibility checks before repeatedly reconnecting.
- Record whether the error occurs during sign-in, after account selection, or only when starting the broadcast. That distinction helps PRISM support narrow the issue.
Fix event creation or stream-start errors
If PRISM cannot create a YouTube event or reports “YouTube Streaming Cannot Be Started” or “YouTube Stream Creation Failed,” first verify eligibility and channel selection. If those are correct, note the exact error and time, retry after confirming the channel is live-enabled, and check whether YouTube Live Control Room shows an incoming stream. A failure before any video reaches YouTube is more likely to need PRISM, authorization or network checks than an encoder-setting change in YouTube.
Fix transmission failures
PRISM identifies unstable or insufficient bandwidth, an invalid or nonexistent RTMP address, a connection problem between its streaming engine and the platform, and channel live-right restrictions as possible causes. PRISM Live Studio’s mobile troubleshooting guide says: “Live streaming requires a stable and high-bandwidth network to handle the continuous transmission of large amounts of video data in real time.”

- Test a steadier connection. If possible, try a different Wi-Fi network or cellular connection. Other people using the same network or large transfers can reduce the bandwidth available to your stream.
- Reduce resolution temporarily. A lower resolution requires less bandwidth and can help distinguish a capacity problem from an account or event-creation issue.
- Restore Adaptive streaming if you disabled it. PRISM advises returning its stream setting to “Adaptive” when it has been turned off and network conditions are unstable.
- Check manual RTMP only if you use it. Verify both the YouTube stream URL and the stream key, and make sure they belong to the intended live stream. A URL can look correctly formatted but still point to a nonexistent server address.
- Keep the stream key private. Do not include it in screenshots, public posts or ordinary support messages. If you believe it has been exposed, replace it in YouTube’s live-stream settings before broadcasting again.

Read YouTube’s stream health when video reaches YouTube
If PRISM is sending video and YouTube receives it, open YouTube Live Control Room and inspect stream health and any displayed error. YouTube’s live-stream troubleshooting guidance covers daily stream limits, incompatible video or audio formats and codecs, and incorrect bitrate. If the available bandwidth cannot sustain the chosen resolution, YouTube advises considering a lower resolution.

If Live Control Room shows no incoming stream, focus on PRISM’s transmission, network and any manually configured RTMP URL/key. If it does show the incoming stream, use YouTube’s health message to address the ingest or encoding issue it identifies.

A PRISM instruction for India and Indonesia recommends “IPv4 Only” and network optimizations for PRISM Windows/Mac desktop error 57998. It is not a documented PRISM Mobile remedy. The available mobile guidance does not establish an India-specific IPv4 setting for the phone app, so do not change a phone’s IP-family settings on that basis.

When the usual checks do not work
Contact PRISM support with details that help separate authorization, app compatibility and transmission problems:
- The exact error text and the stage where it appears.
- PRISM app version, phone model and operating-system version.
- Whether you were using Wi-Fi or cellular data.
- The time of the failed attempt and whether YouTube Live Control Room showed an incoming stream.
- Whether you were using PRISM’s normal connection flow or manual RTMP.
