Administrators should identify whether they run a Virtual Appliance (VA) or SaaS deployment, record both the Virtual Appliance Host and Application versions, and match those details to the specific issue in Vasion’s current security bulletin.
What was found in PrinterLogic?
Security advisories have described different kinds of weaknesses in Vasion Print, including unauthenticated account creation, authentication bypass, remote code execution, SQL injection, exposure of passwords or cryptographic material, and server-side request forgery (SSRF). These are distinct findings, not one vulnerability or one uniform exposure scenario. The access an attacker needs, affected versions, deployment scope, severity metric, and remediation status can differ by issue.
Singapore’s Cyber Security Agency (SingCERT) published an advisory on March 12, 2025, listing multiple Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic) CVEs and vulnerable-version cutoffs. Its table reports CVSS base scores of 9.8 for several listed entries, including CVE-2025-27647, CVE-2025-27657, CVE-2025-27658, and CVE-2025-27659. That is SingCERT’s reported score for those entries; it is not a score for every PrinterLogic finding or a complete assessment of risk to a particular installation.
Which issues and versions are documented?
The version thresholds below are issue-specific. Host and Application versions are separate parts of the product version information; compare both with the matching advisory rather than using one threshold as a blanket upgrade target.

Vasion’s bulletin also distinguishes among findings it says it remediated, reports it considered invalid, and issues for which review or remediation was ongoing. Do not infer that every reported CVE was validated by the vendor, or that a fix for one issue resolves another. The 2024 partial-admin and account-exposure findings, for example, are associated with Host 22.0.913 / Application 20.0.2253 in Vasion’s bulletin; that pair is not a universal safe-version declaration.
How to check and update an installation
- Identify the deployment type. Establish whether the installation is a Virtual Appliance (VA) or SaaS, because an issue’s scope may apply to one or both.
- Record both version numbers. Capture the Virtual Appliance Host version and the Application version. A Host version by itself is not enough to compare against a threshold that specifies both.
- Match the issue to the deployment. Consult Vasion’s current Security Bulletin and locate the relevant CVE or issue entry. Compare the applicable Host and Application versions and check whether the entry covers VA, SaaS, or both.
- Apply the issue-specific fix. Obtain the vendor-specified update or hot fix through Vasion’s supported channel, then verify the resulting versions against the entry for each relevant issue. Do not substitute a threshold listed for another CVE.
- Ask Vasion if the bulletin does not settle the question. Vasion directs customers to report potential vulnerabilities through its support team. Include deployment type, both version numbers, and the issue identifier when seeking guidance.
Vasion’s Security Updates page, last updated July 9, 2026, says maintenance releases, hot fixes, and security updates may be provided as needed. A fix may therefore be delivered outside the next maintenance release; check the applicable bulletin and supported update path rather than waiting for a routine release solely on the basis of its schedule.

What is known about exploitation?
Vasion’s bulletin makes incident-status statements entry by entry. A statement about whether incidents were reported for one issue does not establish that none of the other findings were exploited. The available information does not establish a portfolio-wide count of exploited vulnerabilities, affected customers, or incident frequency.
