Prime Video Watchlist is a personalized list of movies and TV shows you save to find and watch later. Adding a title does not buy or rent it, start playback, or guarantee it will remain available to stream. The exact menu labels and locations vary by device, app version, and profile.
What the Watchlist does—and what it does not
The Watchlist is a saved-for-later queue. To add a title, open its details and select the plus symbol or the Add to Watchlist control. On supported app interfaces, the plus changes to a check mark after the title is saved. Amazon Staff describes the feature as a customized list for movies and TV shows you want to watch (Amazon Digital and Device Forums, “My Stuff,” September 12, 2020).
A saved title may be included with Prime, available to rent or buy, or offered through an add-on; the Watchlist itself does not determine access or price. It is also separate from Continue Watching, viewing history, and Purchases & Rentals.

How to find your Watchlist
Amazon Staff has documented these locations, but the directions are starting points rather than a universal current map. Menus can change by device, locale, and app update.
#1 Best Overall
- HD streaming made simple: With America’s number 1 TV streaming platform,* exploring popular apps—plus tons of free movies, shows, and live TV—is as easy as it is fun. *Based on hours streamed—Hypothesis Group
- Compact without compromises: The sleek design of Roku Streaming Stick won’t block neighboring HDMI ports, and it even powers from your TV alone, plugging into the back and staying out of sight. No wall outlet, no extra cords, no clutter.
- No more juggling remotes: Power up your TV, adjust the volume, and control your Roku device with one remote. Use your voice to quickly search, play entertainment, and more.
- Shows on the go: Take your TV to-go when traveling—without needing to log into someone else’s device.
- TV, simplified: With setup that only takes minutes, a simple-to-navigate Home Screen, and an uncluttered remote control that does all you need—Roku makes it easier to watch the TV you love.
- Computer or browser: Prime Video > My Stuff > Watchlist.
- iPhone or iPad: Look for Watchlist in the app menu; some staff directions place it under My Stuff.
- Android: Look under My Stuff for Watchlist. A later staff answer describes reaching it from the profile control.
- Fire TV: Your Videos > Watchlist.
- Other smart TVs: Check the home screen or side menu for Watchlist.
These paths appear in Amazon Staff answers dated May 1, 2020, and 2025 (“How Do I Access My Watchlist?”). If your screen differs, search the menu for Watchlist, My Stuff, or Your Videos.
How to add or remove a title
Add a movie or show
- Open the title’s details page in Prime Video.
- Select the plus symbol or Add to Watchlist. On supported interfaces, a check mark indicates it has been added.
Remove a movie or show
- Open the title’s details and select “Added to Watchlist.”
- Alternatively, open the Watchlist, use the three-dot control beside the title, and choose the removal option. On a TV, look for the title’s details or options control; remote layouts differ.
Amazon Staff describes these add and remove controls, though their exact appearance may vary across app versions and devices (“My Stuff”).
Rank #2
- Ultra-speedy streaming: Roku Ultra is 30% faster than any other Roku player, delivering a lightning-fast interface and apps that launch in a snap.
- Cinematic streaming: This TV streaming device brings the movie theater to your living room with spectacular 4K, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision picture alongside immersive Dolby Atmos audio.
- The ultimate Roku remote: The rechargeable Roku Voice Remote Pro offers backlit buttons, hands-free voice controls, and a lost remote finder.
- No more fumbling in the dark: See what you’re pressing with backlit buttons.
- Say goodbye to batteries: Keep your remote powered for months on a single charge.
Why a title or list may look different
The title is no longer available the same way
Saving a title does not reserve streaming rights. Amazon Staff says Prime-included titles due to become unavailable within 30 days may display a notice. A title can remain on your Watchlist even if its availability or included-with-Prime status changes (“How Do I Access My Watchlist?”).
You are using a different profile
Prime Video profiles have separate recommendations, season progress, and Watchlists based on each profile’s activity. If the list seems missing, check the active profile first (Prime Video profile help, “Que sont les profils Prime Video ?”).

- Purchases & Rentals: videos you have already bought or rented; Amazon Staff places this section under My Stuff, separate from Watchlist.
- Watch History: records prior viewing activity, not titles saved for later. Prime Video Support lists Watch History separately in its help materials (Prime Video Support).
