To preview a website in manual mode, open its editor and select Preview in the top-right corner. You can preview a draft or a published site, check its mobile layout, then return to editing without publishing your changes.
How to preview the website
- Open the website editor.
- Click Preview in the top-right corner. The preview shows how visitors will view the site, and it is available whether the site is a draft or already published. Official preview instructions Preview limitations
- Review the page and its content in the preview.
- Click Back in the top-left corner to return to editing. You can switch between editing and preview as often as needed. Mobile preview and returning to the editor
How to check the mobile layout
In the editor, select Mobile mode using the phone icon in the top-right corner, then click Preview if needed. Check that the content fits and the layout is suitable for a smaller screen. The instructions describe a mobile view; they do not establish that preview automatically tests responsiveness or verifies every interaction. Official mobile-preview instructions
Does preview publish changes?
No. Preview is for reviewing the site in the editor. Publishing is a separate action: it makes a first-time site public, or applies changes to the live version of a site that is already published. Preview first if you want to inspect a change before visitors see it; publish when you are ready for it to go live. Publishing and updating a site

Preview is not a complete functional test. The official guide says some builder functionality is limited in preview, so it cannot confirm that every feature will work on the published site. When you are ready to test the live experience fully, publish the site and check it there. Official preview limitations
