The Redmi Note 15 SE 5G has the larger listed display and battery, plus Xiaomi’s stated software-support commitment. The POCO X7 is listed with an ultrawide rear camera and a lower price on the comparison page used here. Those differences can help narrow the choice, but the available prices are not a like-for-like quote and the specifications alone do not establish which phone performs better, lasts longer, or takes better photos.

POCO figures in this table are attributed to Gadgets Now’s comparison page. Redmi specifications are from Xiaomi India. A bigger screen, higher resolution, camera count, or battery capacity is not by itself proof of better overall quality.
Which phone has the better display?
The Redmi Note 15 SE 5G has the larger listed panel at 6.77 inches, compared with 6.67 inches for the POCO X7. Xiaomi describes the Redmi screen as a curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2392 × 1080 resolution. Gadgets Now lists the POCO as AMOLED, 120Hz, and 1220 × 2712.

These figures describe different aspects of a display, and the sources do not provide comparable brightness, color, or viewing tests. Choose the Redmi if the larger stated screen is a priority; do not treat size or resolution alone as evidence that it looks better.
How do their processors and cameras compare?
Processor
Gadgets Now reports a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra in the POCO X7, while Xiaomi lists a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 for the Redmi. There are no comparable benchmark results here, so the chip names do not settle which model is faster in games or everyday use.

Rear and front cameras
The comparison page lists three rear cameras on the POCO, including an ultrawide. Xiaomi lists two on the Redmi: a 50MP Light Fusion 400 main camera and a 2MP depth camera. Xiaomi also specifies a 20MP front camera; the cited POCO comparison does not state a front-camera specification.

Does the Redmi’s larger battery mean longer battery life?
Xiaomi specifies a typical 5800mAh battery for the Redmi, compared with the 5500mAh capacity reported for the POCO. Both are listed with 45W charging; Xiaomi calls its system 45W Turbo Charging and says a charger is included in the box.
The Redmi has the larger stated capacity, but no comparable real-world battery test establishes how much longer either phone lasts. Actual endurance depends on usage and other conditions, so capacity alone cannot determine the better choice for your routine.

What software support does the Redmi have?
Xiaomi lists Android 15 with HyperOS 3 for the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G and advertises “4 years of OS updates and 6 years of security patches” on its product page. Xiaomi’s material does not state when those periods begin, so it does not establish a specific end date.

The comparison page reports POCO variants with 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage, and Redmi variants with 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB. Its displayed figures do not establish which configuration each price represents. Before judging the difference, compare the same RAM and storage tier and check the current seller, offer, and date. The Xiaomi listing and comparison-page prices are different observations, not evidence of a fixed Redmi price.
