Choose the POCO X7 Pro if you want the larger stated battery and higher-rated charging; choose the Infinix GT 30 Pro if a 144Hz display, physical gaming triggers, and bypass charging matter more. The specifications point to different strengths, but they do not prove which phone performs better in every game. There is also no reliable single current price difference without matching the market, seller, and memory configuration.
At a glance: the main differences
| Feature | POCO X7 Pro | Infinix GT 30 Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Display | 6.67-inch, 1.5K AMOLED; up to 120Hz, according to Xiaomi Global | 6.78-inch, 1.5K AMOLED; 144Hz, according to the Infinix 2025 manual |
| Chipset | MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra, as listed by GSMArena’s comparison | MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate, as listed by GSMArena’s comparison and the Infinix manual |
| Battery and charging | 6000mAh typical capacity; 90W HyperCharge, per Xiaomi Global | 5500mAh; 45W charging and bypass charging, per the Infinix manual |
| Gaming controls and cooling | Game Turbo mode listed on the Xiaomi Global specifications page; no physical trigger is shown in the cited specification | GT shoulder triggers and vapor chamber cooling listed in the manual |
| Rear cameras | 50MP main camera with OIS and 8MP ultra-wide, per Xiaomi Global | 108MP main and 8MP wide cameras, as reported in Android Central’s review |
| Price evidence | No matched current local offer established | Android Central reported India launch prices of ₹24,999 for 8GB/256GB and ₹26,999 for 12GB/256GB in its July 5, 2025 review; these are historical launch prices, not current offers |
These are stated specifications and historical pricing, not the results of a controlled head-to-head test. Phone features and included items can vary by region: Xiaomi notes that network and package functions may differ by market, and Infinix says the manual’s specifications may change.
Which is better for gaming?
Choose the POCO X7 Pro for its stated chipset and charging combination
The comparison listing names a Dimensity 8400 Ultra in the POCO and a Dimensity 8350 Ultimate in the Infinix. That identifies a hardware difference, but it does not establish a universal gaming-performance winner. Game optimization, graphics settings, heat, and the specific title all affect results; the available figures do not provide matched game tests for these two phones.

The POCO’s listed 6000mAh typical battery and 90W charging rating may appeal if capacity and rated charging speed are priorities. Those numbers alone cannot predict how long it lasts in a particular game or how quickly it charges in actual use.

Choose the Infinix for built-in gaming controls
The GT 30 Pro’s GT shoulder triggers offer physical controls that the cited POCO specification does not list. The Infinix manual also lists bypass charging, a feature relevant to gaming while connected to power, and vapor chamber cooling. These are gaming-focused additions; their presence does not guarantee a particular frame rate or temperature under load.
The Infinix’s 144Hz panel can refresh more often than the POCO’s listed 120Hz panel. A panel’s maximum refresh rate is not the same as a game’s frame rate: the game must support higher frame rates, and actual output also depends on software and performance settings.

Display, battery, and cameras: what the specs do and do not tell you
Display
Both phones are listed with 1.5K AMOLED displays. The Infinix screen is slightly larger at 6.78 inches versus 6.67 inches, and its manual specifies 144Hz rather than the POCO’s maximum listed 120Hz. Consider whether the games you play support high refresh rates; for other games and everyday tasks, the difference may not be fully used.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesBattery and charging
The POCO has the higher stated capacity (6000mAh typical versus 5500mAh) and charging rating (90W versus 45W). Infinix’s bypass charging is a distinct feature for gaming while plugged in. Capacity and wattage are specifications, not measured endurance or charging-time comparisons.

Cameras
The POCO lists a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide. Android Central describes the Infinix with a 108MP main camera and an 8MP wide camera, and offers its own image-quality impressions in its review. The megapixel counts do not establish which phone takes better photos, and that review is not a direct camera comparison between the two models.
What is the price difference?
There is no defensible single current price gap from the available figures: the market, seller, date, and memory configuration must match. Android Central’s July 5, 2025 review reported India launch prices for the Infinix GT 30 Pro of ₹24,999 for 8GB/256GB and ₹26,999 for 12GB/256GB. Those dated launch figures do not show what either phone costs now or how either compares with a like-for-like POCO offer.

To make a fair comparison, check both phones in the same country and at the same time, using the same seller basis and comparable RAM/storage tiers. Confirm the exact regional SKU as well as what the listed price includes. Dynamic marketplace figures are not a substitute for a matched current quote.

Android Central reported an optional Infinix Gaming Kit that includes a MagCharge Cooler and magnetic case. Treat it as an add-on, not a requirement for using the phone. Before buying, verify that the kit is available in your region, check the current bundle contents, and confirm compatibility with the exact GT 30 Pro model.

How to choose between them
- Lean toward the POCO X7 Pro if its listed 6000mAh typical battery, 90W charging rating, and Dimensity 8400 Ultra are a closer fit for your priorities. Do not treat those specifications as proof of longer gaming endurance or higher frame rates.
- Lean toward the Infinix GT 30 Pro if you value its 144Hz display, physical shoulder triggers, bypass charging, and gaming-focused cooling features.
- Compare cameras by real image samples and reviews, not by the 50MP versus 108MP main-camera labels alone.
- Make the price decision from current local listings for comparable configurations; the documented Infinix prices are India launch figures from 2025, not present-day quotes.
Before ordering either phone, confirm the regional model’s network bands, current software support, included charger and accessories, and local warranty terms. The cited product information does not establish those details for every market.
