On published specifications, the realme P3 Pro is the better fit for a larger, sharper display, a newer chipset platform, higher stated battery capacity and faster charging. The POCO X5 Pro has a higher-resolution main camera and adds dedicated ultrawide and macro cameras. Neither specification sheet establishes which phone takes better photos or lasts longer in everyday use. Price and stock also need checking: a 91mobiles comparison page showed the realme at ₹20,999 at Flipkart and the POCO unavailable when accessed on October 7, 2026.
POCO X5 Pro vs realme P3 Pro: how the main specifications compare
The comparison below uses manufacturer specifications where available. It describes hardware, not independent performance or camera testing. The POCO figures come from the POCO Global specification page; the realme figures come from the realme India product page. Features and included items can vary by market, software version and exact model.

Which phone has the better display and chipset?
Display size and resolution
The realme P3 Pro has the larger panel: 6.83 inches versus 6.67 inches. Its listed 1272 × 2800 resolution is also higher than the POCO’s 2400 × 1080. Both specifications list a 120 Hz refresh rate. On paper, the realme offers more screen area and resolution; actual display quality also depends on factors not captured by these figures.
Chipset generation
The POCO uses the Snapdragon 778G, while the realme uses the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. The realme is the newer platform in this comparison, but that alone does not establish a particular gaming frame rate, sustained speed or real-world advantage. Those depend on the software, workload, thermals and testing conditions.

How do their cameras differ?
The POCO has more listed rear-camera roles: a 108 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultrawide with a 120-degree field of view, and a 2 MP macro camera. The realme listing specifies a 50 MP Sony IMX896 main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), along with a 2 MP depth camera in the comparison listing.
This is a difference in hardware, not a photo-quality verdict. A higher megapixel count does not by itself prove that the POCO takes better pictures, and OIS does not establish that the realme wins every camera situation. No controlled side-by-side camera result is available here. Choose the POCO if having a dedicated ultrawide camera matters; consider the realme’s stated OIS if stabilization is a priority, while recognizing neither detail substitutes for comparative image testing.

Match the storage variant before comparing prices
The POCO’s official page lists 128 GB and 256 GB storage configurations, with 6+128 GB and 8+256 GB options shown in the comparison material. The realme price comparison refers to a 128 GB configuration. Check the exact RAM and storage SKU on both listings before treating prices as comparable.

Understand the realme’s resistance claim
The realme product page claims IP66, IP68 and IP69 protection under specified test conditions. Realme cautions that resistance is not permanent and may diminish with normal wear, and says damage caused by immersion in water is not covered by warranty. Treat the ratings as qualified manufacturer claims, not permission to expose the phone to water.

Which should you choose?
- Choose the realme P3 Pro on published specs if you prioritize a larger, higher-resolution screen, the newer listed chipset platform, higher stated battery capacity or higher charging wattage.
- Consider the POCO X5 Pro if its 108 MP main camera and dedicated ultrawide camera better match the kinds of shots you take, or if you value its listed 3.5 mm headphone jack, dual speakers and included protective case. The POCO Global page notes that NFC availability depends on market.
- Compare exact offers before deciding. Align RAM and storage, confirm local stock, and avoid treating a stale listing as today’s price.
