The POCO M7 Pro 5G is the stronger fit if you want a sharper FHD+ AMOLED screen and optical image stabilization (OIS) on the main camera. The Infinix Note 50X 5G has a larger listed battery, supports rear 4K video recording, and appeared at a lower price in one India price snapshot. Neither phone is a universal winner: the right choice depends on which features matter most and the current price of the exact storage variant you plan to buy.

POCO M7 Pro vs Infinix Note 50X: specifications

Both are 6.67-inch 5G phones, but their screens and several headline features differ. Specifications below come from Xiaomi’s UAE product and support pages and Infinix’s product pages; regional configurations and package contents can vary.

Brightness figures are manufacturer specifications, and the manufacturers may use different measurement conditions. A peak-brightness number is not a direct comparison of typical brightness. Likewise, listed audio features and durability ratings do not establish which phone sounds better or how either will fare in every real-world situation.

Which display is better?

The POCO has the clearer specification advantage for screen sharpness: its 2400 × 1080 FHD+ AMOLED panel has substantially more pixels than the Infinix’s 720 × 1600 HD+ IPS LCD. Both are the same listed size and can reach 120Hz, so the refresh-rate ceiling does not distinguish them.

Choose the POCO if screen detail and AMOLED are priorities. The Infinix still offers a 120Hz mode, but its lower resolution is the key trade-off. Refresh rate and brightness figures alone do not establish which display looks better in every setting.

How do performance and storage compare?

The POCO uses the Dimensity 7025-Ultra, while the Infinix uses the Dimensity 7300 Ultimate. The chip names, process nodes, and core configurations are not a substitute for a controlled head-to-head test. The available specifications do not establish which phone is faster in everyday use, gaming, or sustained workloads.

Storage tiers also differ in the configurations listed by the manufacturers: the POCO page includes up to 512GB, while the Infinix page lists 128GB options. Confirm the India SKU and the seller’s exact RAM and storage listing before comparing prices; virtual or extended RAM should not be treated as a replacement for physical RAM or storage.

Which has the bigger battery, and how fast do they charge?

Infinix lists a 5,500mAh battery, compared with the POCO’s 5,110mAh typical capacity. Both manufacturers list charging up to 45W, and Infinix also lists reverse charging up to 10W. The larger published capacity does not prove longer battery life: no comparable battery-runtime test is established here.

What are the camera differences?

The POCO lists OIS on its 50MP main camera and a separate 2MP depth camera. OIS can help stabilize camera movement, but the feature alone does not show which phone produces better photos. Infinix’s product page promotes “50MP Dual Camera | 4K Video Recording” and lists rear recording up to 4K at 30fps; POCO lists rear video up to 1080p at 30fps.

Those are feature and resolution differences, not matched image or video-quality results. The front cameras also differ on paper: 20MP on POCO and 8MP on Infinix. Without controlled samples, megapixel counts and recording modes do not settle which phone is best for portraits, low light, or video.

What is the price difference in India?

A 91mobiles comparison-page snapshot lists the POCO M7 Pro at ₹14,999 and the Infinix Note 50X at ₹13,499, making the listed gap ₹1,500 in that snapshot. These are observed listing prices, not guaranteed current prices or manufacturer-set MSRPs. The comparison page also indicated the Infinix could be out of stock in a later crawl, while Infinix’s own product pages have displayed different offer prices across variants and page states.

Before buying, compare the same RAM and storage tier, seller, availability, and delivery region. The POCO specifications cited here are from Xiaomi’s UAE pages, so confirm that the exact configuration and included items match the India listing. Prices and stock can change.

Which phone should you choose?

Choose the POCO M7 Pro 5G if

  • You prioritize an FHD+ AMOLED screen over an HD+ LCD.
  • You want OIS listed for the main rear camera.
  • You need one of the higher-capacity storage options listed on the cited POCO product page, subject to India availability.

Choose the Infinix Note 50X 5G if

  • You prefer the higher published battery capacity and want listed reverse charging.
  • You want rear 4K/30fps recording as a supported mode.
  • The exact Infinix variant is available at a lower current price than a comparable POCO configuration.

Neither chipset specification establishes a real-world speed winner, and battery capacity, camera features, and audio labels do not replace matched tests. Check the specific India SKU, current seller price, and stock before deciding.
