There is no dependable universal price gap: the available prices are from different countries, configurations and kinds of listings.

Which phone is faster?
The POCO F7 is the stronger choice on the listed processor, memory and storage specifications: it pairs Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 with 12GB LPDDR5X and UFS 4.1 storage. The REDMI lists Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 and LPDDR4X memory; its storage is UFS 2.2 on the 128GB version and UFS 3.1 on 256GB and 512GB versions.

Display differences: brightness and glass
The phones match on listed screen size, resolution and refresh rate: each has a 6.83-inch display at 2772 × 1280 and up to 120Hz. Their brightness figures use different labels. POCO lists peak brightness of up to 3200 nits over 25% of the display; REDMI lists 3500 nits UHBM and 1060 nits typical. Those figures are not a like-for-like independent measurement, so they do not show which screen will look brighter in every situation.
The listed cover glass also differs: Gorilla Glass 7i for the POCO F7 and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for the REDMI. These material names alone do not establish comparative drop or scratch performance.

Camera specifications and video
Both phones list a 50MP main rear camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The POCO lists rear video recording up to 4K at 30 or 60 frames per second, compared with up to 1080p at 30fps on the REDMI. The POCO’s front camera is listed at 20MP; the REDMI’s is 16MP.

Battery capacity and charging
The REDMI lists an 8340mAh typical battery, compared with 6500mAh typical for the POCO F7. The POCO has the higher wired charging rating—90W HyperCharge versus 67W HyperCharge on the REDMI. Both list wired reverse charging up to 22.5W.
Capacity and charging ratings do not guarantee a particular runtime or charging time. Actual battery life depends on use and conditions, and the listed capacity is not a promise of how long either phone will last between charges.

SIM, connectivity and water resistance
The POCO lists two nano-SIM slots. The REDMI supports either two nano-SIMs or one nano-SIM plus an eSIM, but eSIM availability depends on the market and carrier. The POCO lists Wi-Fi 7 capability where supported regionally and Bluetooth 6.0; the REDMI lists Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1. Confirm local bands and carrier compatibility for the exact model before purchase.

Xiaomi lists the REDMI with IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings under stated laboratory conditions. The company cautions against beach or pool use and says protection is not assured outside test conditions. The available specifications do not establish an equivalent rating for the POCO F7.
Price difference: why country and configuration matter
The available prices cannot be compared as one universal gap because they refer to different markets and listing types.
