Piying-View is presented as a TypeScript frontend form library that uses a Valibot schema to describe form data and validation, then connects that schema to rendered controls, field binding, errors, and inferred types. Its author describes both automatic whole-form rendering and manual field binding, with integrations listed for Angular, Vue 3, Vue 2, React, Svelte, and Solid. These capabilities are described in the project author’s article; they have not been independently verified here. Read the Piying-View overview.

What Piying-View is designed to do

The project article describes Piying-View as an open-source, strongly typed TypeScript form library for frontend applications. Rather than separately maintaining a data type, validation rules, and form wiring, a developer writes a Valibot schema and uses it as the basis for the form. Piying-View is described as rendering controls, handling binding and validation, and displaying errors.

The author also describes reactive form behavior: fields can be hidden, disabled, or coupled to other fields as data changes. That makes the library’s pitch broader than schema validation alone; it aims to keep the rendered form and its behavior connected to the schema-defined data model.

How schema-derived typing is meant to work

The article frames the typing model as a solution to loose field keys and untyped values. In its examples, schema-aware APIs let editor tooling suggest valid field paths and flag paths that do not belong to the schema. Callbacks can receive inferred field values, and the library is described as inferring control, parent, and root values.

Elebase USB to USB C Adapter for iPhone 18 Pro Max,USBC Car Charger Adapter
  • Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
  • Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
  • Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
  • Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.

The author distinguishes three APIs for building that connection:

  • typedFieldPipe: attaches metadata to paths derived from the schema and offers typed field callbacks and lookups across the listed frameworks.
  • typedFieldComponentPipe: adds component-aware typing, narrowing inputs, outputs, events, and attributes to the selected component.
  • convertToField: offers a manual conversion path that the article says retains inferred field and value types. The author also says manual binding directives remember the type associated with the bound path.

In practical terms, the article separates two concerns: knowing that a field path and its value match the schema, and knowing that a particular UI component accepts the props or events being connected to that field. Those are project claims and examples, not independently tested results.

Automatic rendering or manual field placement?

The article describes two ways to use a schema. Choose based on whether you want the library to generate the form tree or need to arrange fields yourself.

Approach How it works Best fit
Automatic mode Pass the schema to a component that renders the form tree. When generated controls and a schema-driven structure suit the desired layout.
Manual mode Convert schema parts to fields, then bind them in a hand-arranged template. When the application needs direct control over field placement or a custom template.

The source explains the two routes but supplies no comparative benchmarks or independent evaluation. It therefore does not establish that either approach is faster or better in general.

Framework integrations and what varies

The author lists integrations for Angular, Vue 3, Vue 2, React, Svelte, and Solid. The article’s premise is that schema and business logic can carry across frameworks, while the registered UI components are mapped for the framework in use. Component props and events follow each framework’s conventions; the article specifically describes Angular as exposing models.

This makes the schema-level form description the proposed shared layer, not the component integration. A team moving between frameworks should expect to adapt or replace component registrations and their framework-specific bindings rather than assume one component mapping works unchanged everywhere. The article does not establish performance differences among the integrations.

Schema forms and JSON Schema conversion

The article says Piying-View handles Valibot structures including objects, arrays, records, tuples, unions, intersections, maps, and sets. It also names jsonSchemaToValibot() as an entry point for converting JSON Schema. These are the source’s stated capabilities; the article does not provide independently verified version, compatibility, or behavior details for each structure.

What to check before adopting it

The available project overview does not establish the current release version, license, maintenance status, or precise compatibility with particular framework and Valibot versions. Before relying on it for a production form, check the linked project documentation and repository for those details, and confirm that the APIs and integrations match the versions in your application. The feature descriptions here reflect the author’s article rather than an independent review.
