ATLUS’s Persona 4 Revival “Shadow” trailer was reported released on October 3, 2026. Its official promotional description sets up the murders in Inaba, the mysterious Midnight Channel, and the protagonist and classmates facing dangerous Shadows.
When did the Persona 4 Revival Shadow trailer come out?
Reports from Gematsu and Persona Central dated October 3, 2026, identify the new video as the “Shadow” trailer and describe its focus on the game’s Shadow confrontations. Gematsu links both the English and Japanese versions.
The trailer description reproduced by Gematsu is official promotional copy, not a quotation attributed to a named speaker. It reads: “A string of unusual murders disturbs the peace in the quiet town of Inaba as word of the mysterious Midnight Channel begins to spread. Attempting to piece together the link between these mysteries, the protagonist and his classmates come face-to-face with dangerous Shadows—manifestations of one’s other self. Awaken the power of Personas together and uncover the truth within the fog when Persona 4 Revival launches.”
What does the trailer show?
The description frames the story around an investigation in Inaba: unusual murders unsettle the town, the Midnight Channel becomes part of the mystery, and the protagonist and classmates encounter Shadows. It characterizes Shadows as manifestations of a person’s other self, and says the group awakens Personas as they seek the truth.

SEGA lists Persona 4 Revival as a single-player RPG. The main launch date is February 18, 2027; the Nintendo Switch 2 version is scheduled for May 20, 2027.
