PeakFeed can refer to either a social-monitoring product launched in 2015 or the company behind today’s marketing tools. The right alternative depends on the job: use SendView for competitor email monitoring, shortlist social-management tools for managing or reporting on social accounts, and treat audience-research options separately. Product Hunt’s alternatives are discovery leads, not proof that each listed tool replaces PeakFeed feature for feature.
What PeakFeed means in 2026
Product Hunt records PeakFeed’s launch on November 7, 2015, describing it as the “Easiest way to monitor your brand’s social media efforts.” Its listing also records later launches including Snapshot, Hemlock, Readership, and ESP Finder. The listing currently shows no PeakFeed reviews. Product Hunt’s PeakFeed listing is useful historical context, but it does not establish that every product launched under the name remains available.
The current PeakFeed homepage positions the company as a provider of marketing tools. It foregrounds SendView, for tracking and learning from other companies’ email marketing, and Hoverpost, for email subscriptions for YouTubers and podcasters. It also links free utilities including TweetDeets, ESP Finder, a social share link generator, and Email Tech Tracker. The homepage’s company-level description is more current than the original launch tagline, but is not confirmation of the current status of every legacy product.

| Reader’s goal | What to consider | What the available evidence supports |
|---|---|---|
| Monitor competitors’ email campaigns | SendView | PeakFeed links to it for competitor email monitoring; SendView describes campaign dashboards, comparisons, trends, alerts, and reports. |
| Manage social accounts or produce social reports | Shortlist social-management tools, then compare fit | Product Hunt and Capterra surface options including Highperformr.ai, Cloud Campaign, and Zoho Social. Those directory listings do not establish like-for-like replacement of Snapshot or Readership. |
| Research an audience through public social interactions | Readership, only if access becomes available | PeakFeed says Readership is no longer open to new users. Its described analysis focuses on public interactions associated with an audience, currently on Twitter. |
| Track many social accounts with a custom workflow | PeakFeed Labs, subject to availability | The official page describes custom tracking solutions, including CSV exports and dashboards, but does not state current project availability or prices. |
For competitor email monitoring: SendView
SendView is the clearest match in this set if the goal is to observe competitors’ email marketing rather than send your own campaigns. PeakFeed itself links to SendView as “Powerful Competitor Email Monitoring.” SendView’s official site describes an analysis-oriented inbox, campaign dashboards, side-by-side competitor comparisons, trend views, weekly digests, campaign timelines, alerts, monthly reports, and an inspiration board.
#1 Best Overall
SendView’s homepage, checked October 7, 2026, listed Standard at $69/month, Pro at $99/month, Ultimate at $169/month, and Managed at $249/month. These are vendor-listed prices and can change; check the live plan page for current pricing, billing cadence, limits, and terms before choosing a plan. SendView also displays a cumulative total of more than 3,000,000 campaigns analyzed, a vendor-reported figure rather than an independently validated statistic.
Its feature archive lists 2026 releases for email-list-sharing monitoring (August 11), agency workflows (July 28), digests (July 2), weekly summaries (July 1), and Ask (June 30). The dated entries indicate active updates at the time shown; they do not guarantee that any feature remains available on a particular plan.

For social reporting or account management: shortlist, then verify
PeakFeed’s earlier Snapshot launch was described as “All your brand’s social profiles, one weekly report.” For a present-day need to manage accounts or report on social activity, Product Hunt’s alternatives page and Capterra’s directory surface tools such as Highperformr.ai, Cloud Campaign, and Zoho Social. These are useful places to start a shortlist, not evidence that they reproduce Snapshot’s weekly reporting or Readership’s audience research.
Before selecting a social tool, compare the parts that determine whether it actually fits your workflow:

For audience research: Readership is not open to new users
PeakFeed’s Readership page says the service is no longer open to new users. It describes analysis of public social interactions associated with a selected audience, currently focused on Twitter, and says reports can also be generated from an email list by inquiry. The page lists $99 per report and a typical analysis time of 2–4 hours, while also mentioning beta discounts. Because signups are closed, those figures are published page information—not a confirmed accessible offer or guaranteed turnaround.
For large-scale custom tracking: ask about PeakFeed Labs
PeakFeed Labs describes custom solutions for tracking large groups of social accounts. Its examples include a CSV export for nearly 100 accounts, influencer dashboards, and franchisee account tracking. The page provides no current price list and does not clearly say whether it is accepting new projects, so availability and scope need to be confirmed directly.

Which Product Hunt alternatives are adjacent, not substitutes?
Product Hunt’s alternatives list spans multiple software categories. It includes competitor-monitoring names such as tona and Competitors App, SEO and keyword research products such as Ahrefs and SEMrush, and email marketing products such as Mailchimp. These address different tasks. For example, sending email campaigns or building email journeys is not the same as monitoring what competitors send.

A practical comparison checklist
Once you know the job, use these questions to compare candidates without confusing categories:
Quick Recap
- What are you monitoring? Competitor emails, your own social accounts, public social interactions, or a broader marketing campaign?
- What coverage do you need? Which email providers, social platforms, brands, accounts, and historical periods are included?
- What should the tool deliver? Dashboards, alerts, weekly digests, scheduled reports, CSV or PDF exports, or campaign content?
- How much setup can you manage? Is self-service sufficient, or do you need a managed service or custom build?
- Can you access it now? Check signup status, plan limits, trial terms, current prices, and whether the required feature is included.
- How strong is the evidence? Treat vendor feature descriptions as product claims and directory alternatives as discovery signals, not independent validation.
