The Paramount Syntex IPO is scheduled to close on October 6, 2026. Its reported price band is ₹119–₹127 per share, and the widely repeated “119 times” figure is a 119.29x QIB subscription snapshot excluding anchor investors, recorded on October 1 at 5:00 p.m. IST—not a final subscription result. The reported ₹0 GMP is also dated: it was an unofficial observation on September 29, not an official listing price or a forecast.

What does “QIB subscribed 119 times” mean?
Economic Times reported QIB subscription of 119.29x excluding anchor investors at 5:00 p.m. IST on October 1, 2026. In that snapshot, bids in the QIB category were 119.29 times the shares reserved for that category. It is a dated category-level figure, not a final issue-wide subscription number, a guarantee of allotment, or evidence of future listing performance.

| Investor category | Subscription | Qualification |
|---|---|---|
| QIB, excluding anchors | 119.29x | Economic Times snapshot, October 1, 2026, 5:00 p.m. IST |
| NII | 0.02x | Economic Times snapshot, October 1, 2026, 5:00 p.m. IST |
| Retail | 0.10x | Economic Times snapshot, October 1, 2026, 5:00 p.m. IST |
| Total | 1.28x | Economic Times snapshot, October 1, 2026, 5:00 p.m. IST |
The categories measure bids against their respective reserved portions, so a large QIB multiple should not be read as broad demand across every investor group. The total-subscription figure is not consistent across the third-party reports in the available information: Economic Times gives 1.28x on October 1, while IPO Decode reports 0.47x on October 3. That later figure has not been reconciled to exchange data; treat either as a source- and date-specific report rather than a definitive final total.

Paramount Syntex IPO GMP: what the ₹0 figure tells you
Tapetide records a GMP of ₹0 on September 29, 2026. This is a dated, unofficial dealer-market indication. Zerodha describes GMP as unofficial and unregulated, and Tapetide likewise characterizes its data as indicative rather than a forecast. No reliable October 4 GMP is established by the available information, so the September 29 observation should not be presented as today’s premium.
GMP is not an exchange-published listing price. It cannot establish what the shares will list at, and an unofficial indication may change or prove inaccurate.

Important dates and what happens next
- September 30, 2026: bidding was scheduled to open.
- October 6, 2026: scheduled final day to bid.
- October 7, 2026: scheduled allotment date.
- October 9, 2026: scheduled BSE SME listing date.
These dates are the schedule reported by Economic Times and Zerodha as of October 4, 2026. Allotment and listing remained in the future at that point; check an exchange or final offer-document notice for any subsequent change.

Offer structure, allocation and use of proceeds
The issuer’s draft prospectus describes a book-built public issue with allocation categories for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs), non-institutional investors (NIIs), and individual investors. Because the draft prospectus contains blank placeholders for price and final issue details, it should not be used to fill in final offer terms; those should be checked against the final red herring prospectus or an exchange notice.
Business Standard reports that proceeds are intended for machinery capital expenditure at the existing facility and general corporate purposes. The allocation amounts are not stated here; verify them in the final offer document rather than relying on the draft.
Quick Recap
How to use the subscription and GMP figures
- Read every subscription multiple with its investor category and timestamp; the 119.29x figure is QIB ex-anchor from October 1 at 5:00 p.m. IST.
- Do not treat a category multiple as a prediction of listing gains or an assurance that an application will receive shares.
- Read GMP with its observation date and source. The reported ₹0 is a September 29 unofficial indication, not an official price.
- If applying, use a broker or demat provider’s current IPO application process and confirm the live offer details. Applying does not guarantee allotment.
