In India, the OPPO Reno15 Pro 5G launched ₹18,000 above the Reno14 Pro 5G in both matching storage tiers. It brings a higher listed battery capacity, a 200MP main-camera specification and ColorOS 16; the Reno14 Pro has a slightly larger display and a lower historical launch price. Both India models use the Dimensity 8450, according to OPPO. The right choice depends on their current prices and whether the Reno15 Pro’s listed changes are worth the premium to you.
India models and launch prices
This comparison is specifically between the India variants: Reno14 Pro 5G model CPH2739 and Reno15 Pro 5G model CPH2811. Reno15 Pro naming, specifications and pricing can differ by market, and these are not references to the Reno15 Pro Mini or other regional variants. OPPO announced the Reno14 Pro on July 3, 2025, with sales from July 8; it announced the Reno15 Pro on January 8, 2026, with sales from January 13. OPPO’s Reno14 Pro India specifications and Reno15 Pro India specifications identify the respective models.
| India launch price | Reno14 Pro 5G | Reno15 Pro 5G | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| 12GB + 256GB | ₹49,999 | ₹67,999 | ₹18,000 more for Reno15 Pro |
| 12GB + 512GB | ₹54,999 | ₹72,999 | ₹18,000 more for Reno15 Pro |
These are the manufacturers’ India launch prices, not current offers or guaranteed street prices. The ₹18,000 difference is the arithmetic between the like-for-like tiers in OPPO India’s Reno14 Pro launch announcement and Reno15 series launch announcement. Check current prices, availability and the exact storage variant before buying; those details are not established by the launch figures.

Is the Reno15 Pro’s camera worth the premium?
The Reno15 Pro’s India launch announcement gives a more explicit high-resolution configuration: 200MP main, 50MP 3.5× telephoto and 50MP ultra-wide. Reno14 Pro launch materials emphasize its 50MP 3.5× telephoto and AI flash and low-light features. These descriptions tell you what camera hardware and vendor-promoted features are listed, not which phone takes better photos. Megapixel counts alone do not establish image quality, and there is no independent head-to-head result here. If camera quality is your deciding factor, compare sample images from the exact India models under the kinds of light and focal lengths you use.

Choose the Reno14 Pro if its current price is meaningfully lower
The Reno14 Pro is the more defensible value pick when a verified current price advantage matters more to you than the Reno15 Pro’s documented hardware changes. It also has the slightly larger stated display diagonal. Its launch price is only a historical reference: confirm today’s offer for the exact storage tier.

Consider the Reno15 Pro if its listed changes justify the price to you
The Reno15 Pro is newer and lists a 6500mAh battery, a 200MP main camera and ColorOS 16. Those are specification differences, not proof of longer real-world battery life, better photos or a longer software-support period. Buy it if the live price and those features make sense for your needs, rather than assuming the launch premium guarantees a better experience.

- Compare current prices for the same 256GB or 512GB tier rather than relying on launch prices.
- Confirm that the listed camera configuration and focal lengths match how you shoot.
- Consider the roughly 0.05-inch difference in stated display diagonal and, if possible, how each phone feels in hand.
- Check OS features and update-support terms for the India variant directly with OPPO; the OS versions listed do not establish support duration or feature availability.
- Confirm warranty, local service and any relevant network compatibility for your location. These are not established by the specifications or launch-price data above.
OPPO’s product pages also warn that some feature descriptions, software features and results may vary by region, software version and conditions. Its IP ratings are not a reason to ignore the stated use limits, particularly for underwater photography; consult the relevant product guidance before exposing either phone to water.
