The cited OPPO A6 Pro CPH2799 is a non-5G model, while the realme 16 5G is a 5G phone listed for India. They match on key basics—6.57-inch FHD+ 120 Hz AMOLED displays and 7000 mAh typical batteries—but differ in charging, front-camera resolution, chipset, and network support. There is no verified, like-for-like current price pair here, so a price difference depends on the country, storage tier, seller, and date checked.
Check the exact models before comparing
“OPPO A6 Pro” can refer to different phones. This comparison uses OPPO A6 Pro CPH2799, whose Global specification page lists a MediaTek Helio G100 and no 5G. OPPO also sells an A6 Pro 5G, model CPH2781, with a different chipset and 5G support; see its separate specification page. Do not apply the CPH2799 comparison to that 5G model.
The realme figures below are for the standard realme 16 5G on realme India’s specification page, not the 16 Pro or Pro+. Both makers’ specifications were accessed October 7, 2026, and are manufacturer claims rather than independent test results.

Where the differences matter
5G and carrier compatibility
The largest practical distinction is network support: the cited CPH2799 is non-5G, and the realme 16 is a 5G model. The India realme page’s band list should not be assumed to describe every regional handset. OPPO lists two frequency-band versions for CPH2799 and cautions that live-network functions depend on carrier networks and service deployment. Before buying, check the exact SKU’s bands against your carrier in the country where you plan to use the phone.

Charging, not battery size
The two listed capacities are the same: 7000 mAh typical and 6830 mAh rated. OPPO specifies charging up to 80 W, compared with realme’s 60 W. Those are manufacturer maximum-wattage specifications, not measured charging times; they do not establish which phone lasts longer or how quickly either charges in everyday use.
Camera resolution and what it does not tell you
Both specifications list a 50 MP main rear camera plus a 2 MP monochrome camera. realme lists a 50 MP front camera, while OPPO lists 16 MP. That gives realme the higher front-camera resolution on paper, but megapixels alone do not establish photo or video quality; no independent camera comparison is available here.

Display and performance
Both phones list the same display size, resolution, and refresh rate. The brightness figures need care: OPPO lists 1400 nits typical HBM, while realme lists 1400 nits typical HBM and separately claims 4200 nits peak. Because the labels and measurement conditions differ, those numbers do not support a direct brightness winner.
The phones use different named chipsets—Helio G100 and Dimensity 6400 Turbo—but specifications alone do not establish a performance winner. No comparative benchmark or independent speed test is available to show how they perform in particular games or workloads.

How to compare price fairly
No verified current, like-for-like retail prices were established for the two phones. A third-party comparison listing does not establish a current checkout price for matching configurations. Avoid treating any displayed price gap as definitive without checking local listings on the same day.
- Choose the country and currency where you will buy the phone.
- Match RAM and storage as closely as possible. The cited realme India page lists a 12 GB + 256 GB option in addition to 8 GB configurations; OPPO’s cited page lists 8 GB + 128 GB and 8 GB + 256 GB.
- Compare the same kind of price—such as regular listed price against regular listed price, or current promotional price against current promotional price—and note the seller and date.
- Confirm the exact model code, network bands, and regional configuration on the listing before paying.
Without those details, a single price difference can compare different storage tiers, markets, sellers, or promotions rather than equivalent phones.

Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the realme 16 5G if 5G support is a priority in your market, or if you want the higher listed front-camera resolution. Confirm that the India-market bands and configuration match the version sold where you live.
- Consider the OPPO A6 Pro CPH2799 if its local price and other features suit you, and 5G is not a requirement. Its specification lists up to 80 W charging, but that does not prove a shorter real-world charging time.
- Do not decide on battery capacity or display size alone: both cited versions list the same typical and rated battery capacities and the same display size, resolution, and refresh rate.
Both official pages list a charger, cable, protective case, and SIM ejector tool, while warning that box contents may vary by market. Check the local listing to confirm what is included.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteManufacturer specifications can change or vary by region. OPPO’s page says, “All specifications are subject to the actual product.”
