First check whether the broadcast is scheduled in OneStream and then whether YouTube has an event for it. In OneStream, open Streams and look for the upcoming stream. If it is listed, check its destination account, event type, scheduled time, and YouTube visibility in the steps below. If it is missing, the schedule may not have completed.
1. Check OneStream’s Streams list
Open the OneStream dashboard and select Streams. OneStream’s guidance says upcoming streams appear there, and you can open a stream’s edit flow to review its content, stream details, broadcast details, and schedule. OneStream’s scheduled-stream instructions were last updated September 21, 2026.
- If the stream is listed: Open its edit flow and verify the selected video, broadcast details, destination, and scheduled date and time.
- If it is not listed: Return to the scheduling flow and check that you completed the final schedule action. A stream absent from this list has not been confirmed as scheduled in OneStream.
This first check separates a missing OneStream schedule from a YouTube visibility issue; the title of the problem alone cannot identify which occurred.

Make sure the YouTube account connected to OneStream is the channel where you expect the event. OneStream’s YouTube connection instructions say to connect the intended account from Social Platforms before scheduling to that channel. During setup, also select the intended social destination rather than assuming the connected account was automatically chosen.

3. Check whether you scheduled a new broadcast or an existing event
OneStream has a separate path for attaching a broadcast to an event that already exists on YouTube. If you meant to use an existing event, verify that you selected it rather than creating or scheduling a different broadcast.

These steps follow OneStream’s existing-event instructions, last updated September 15, 2026. If you intended to create a new event instead, check the new-broadcast workflow and the event that appears in YouTube Studio.
4. Look for the event in YouTube Studio
In YouTube Studio, open Content → Live and inspect the current and upcoming streams. This is the YouTube-side check: compare the event shown there with the OneStream schedule, including the channel, title, privacy setting, and scheduled time.

Check the Studio Live tab and the direct watch link. See YouTube’s Manage live stream settings.
5. Check privacy and the viewer’s route to the stream
An event can exist without being discoverable in public search or channel browsing. YouTube’s visibility rules distinguish these cases:

- Private: It does not appear in search or on the channel homepage. Access is restricted to the audience allowed by YouTube’s private-video rules.
- Unlisted: It does not appear in search or the channel’s Videos tab, but anyone with the link can view it.
If a viewer says the scheduled stream is missing, verify privacy in YouTube Studio and try sending the direct watch link. For private and unlisted visibility details, consult YouTube’s Change video privacy settings.
6. Compare the schedule time with the current time
Check the date and time displayed for the event in both OneStream and YouTube Studio. A mismatch, wrong date, or overlooked time-zone difference can make an event seem absent when it is scheduled for another time. If the event is in the past, inspect the relevant past stream rather than looking only among upcoming events. Correct the schedule through the appropriate OneStream or YouTube workflow, depending on which record is wrong.
7. Check YouTube live-streaming eligibility if creation or launch fails
If you cannot create or launch the event, check the channel’s eligibility rather than treating it as a confirmed cause of a missing listing. YouTube’s live-streaming guidance says the channel must be verified and must not have had live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. These are platform prerequisites, not evidence that a particular channel is restricted. See YouTube’s live-streaming tips.
Troubleshooting by what you find
| What you find | What it points to | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Not in OneStream’s Streams list | The OneStream schedule is not confirmed. | Repeat the scheduling flow and complete its final action; confirm the intended destination. |
| In OneStream, but absent from YouTube Studio → Content → Live | The records do not match; the destination, event selection, or scheduling outcome needs review. | Confirm the connected account and selected channel; check whether you chose a new broadcast or Existing Event; review the scheduled date and time. |
| In YouTube Studio, but viewers cannot find it | Visibility or discovery expectations may be the issue. | Review Public, Private, or Unlisted status and test the direct watch link. |
| Creation or launch is unavailable | A YouTube live-streaming prerequisite may not be met. | Check channel verification and whether live-streaming restrictions applied in the previous 90 days. |
