The OnePlus Nord CE5 and vivo T5x 5G make different trade-offs: the Nord CE5 has an AMOLED display, faster listed charging and a specified OIS main camera with an ultrawide lens; the T5x has a slightly larger listed battery and IP68/IP69 ratings. OnePlus lists the Nord CE5 from ₹24,999 in India, but vivo’s reviewed official pages do not state a current T5x price, so an exact price difference cannot be established from those pages.

How the displays differ
The screen sizes and refresh rates are close: 6.77 inches and 120Hz for the Nord CE5, versus 6.76 inches and 120Hz for the T5x. The central distinction is display technology: OnePlus lists an AMOLED panel, while vivo lists an LCD. OnePlus also lists HDR10+ and 1300 nits HBM; vivo lists 1200 nits HBM. Those published brightness figures do not establish which screen looks brighter in use, because the figures and viewing conditions are not shown to be directly comparable.

Battery capacity and charging
vivo lists a 7,200mAh battery, 100mAh more capacity than the Nord CE5’s listed 7,100mAh. OnePlus lists 80W charging, compared with 44W for the T5x. Capacity figures alone do not predict runtime, and charging wattage does not establish how long a full charge takes. The cited specifications provide no comparable battery-runtime or charging-time test.

The vivo product information gives the T5x’s front camera as 32MP; the reviewed OnePlus product page does not establish the Nord CE5’s front-camera resolution, so a numeric front-camera comparison is not supported here.

Protection and software support
vivo lists IP68 and IP69 ratings for the T5x. The reviewed Nord CE5 product information does not establish a comparable ingress-protection rating, so the available specifications support identifying this as a documented distinction, not claiming that the Nord CE5 has a particular alternative rating.
OnePlus lists OxygenOS and claims four Android version updates plus six years of security updates for the Nord CE5. vivo lists Android 16 with OriginOS 6.0 for the T5x, but the reviewed vivo pages do not state a support duration. What is the price difference in India?
OnePlus lists the Nord CE5 from ₹24,999 on its India product page, accessed October 4, 2026. This is a manufacturer-listed starting price, not a guaranteed current street price for every configuration. The reviewed official vivo T5x pages do not provide a current price, so they do not support a reliable numerical price gap.
For a fair live comparison, check prices on the same date, from identified sellers, for matching or closely comparable RAM and storage configurations. Account for seller offers and availability; a starting price for one phone cannot be compared meaningfully with an unspecified T5x variant price.
