The OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite 5G is the lower-priced option in a third-party listing snapshot and stands out for its stated 144Hz refresh rate and microSD expansion. On 91mobiles, the phones were listed at ₹28,999 and ₹36,999 respectively on 7 October 2026—a difference of ₹8,000. Prices can change, so check the live listing and exact variant before buying.
Price difference in India
On the 91mobiles comparison page accessed on 7 October 2026, the OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite 5G was listed at ₹28,999 and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G at ₹36,999, making the listed gap ₹8,000. These are third-party listing snapshots, not official prices or a guarantee of what a seller will charge. Check the live price, seller, storage variant and offer terms before purchasing.
OnePlus separately described the Nord CE6 Lite’s India launch positioning as the ₹20,000–₹25,000 segment, based on data as of 7 May 2026. That launch context is not the same as the later 91mobiles listing price.

Which phone has the better display?
The Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G has the larger, higher-resolution panel: Xiaomi specifies a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a refresh rate up to 120Hz. The Nord CE 6 Lite 5G is listed with a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD and a stated 144Hz refresh rate. In practical terms, the Redmi’s AMOLED panel and resolution are the stronger specifications for contrast and detail, while the OnePlus has the higher stated refresh rate. A higher refresh-rate figure alone does not establish that the overall display is better.

Battery and charging
Xiaomi lists a 9000mAh typical battery for the Redmi, compared with 7000mAh for the OnePlus. The Redmi also has the higher rated charging speed: 67W versus 45W SUPERVOOC. Xiaomi additionally lists 22.5W wired reverse charging. These capacity and charging figures are manufacturer specifications; actual endurance and charging times depend on usage, conditions and the charging equipment used.
Xiaomi’s claim of “3.5+ days” of battery life is based on its internal-lab light-use conditions, not a universal expectation. OnePlus also presents controlled-test battery-duration claims; such figures should not be treated as a promise of everyday runtime.

Camera hardware and what it does—and does not—tell you
Both phones list a 50MP main rear camera. Xiaomi specifies optical image stabilization (OIS) on the main camera and adds an 8MP ultrawide, giving it more explicitly listed rear-camera versatility. OnePlus advertises 4K video and 4K Motion Photos. For selfies, the listed resolutions are 8MP on OnePlus and 16MP on Xiaomi.
These specifications do not establish which phone takes better photos or video. No sourced direct camera-quality comparison is available here, and megapixel counts alone do not prove image quality.

Storage and performance
The Nord CE 6 Lite 5G has listed 128GB and 256GB options and supports microSD expansion up to 2TB. The card uses a shared SIM slot, so expansion may mean giving up that slot for a second SIM. The Redmi is listed with 128GB and 256GB storage; the 128GB version uses UFS 2.2, while the 256GB version uses UFS 3.1. Confirm the exact market variant before ordering.
The phones use different processors: MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Apex in the OnePlus and Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 in the Redmi. Those names alone do not establish an overall performance winner. OnePlus says its device is designed to maintain system fluency for up to 60 months, based on OnePlus Test Lab data; that is a manufacturer claim, not a guarantee of performance for every user or workload.

Software and durability
The Nord runs OxygenOS 16. The Redmi runs HyperOS 3 based on Android 16. Xiaomi states that the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G will receive 4 years of OS updates and 6 years of security updates. The available comparison listing gives shorter support figures for OnePlus, but those figures are not sufficiently confirmed here as an official OnePlus policy; check OnePlus’s current support information for the device and region before relying on a specific period.

Which should you buy?
Choose the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G if
- You prefer a larger 1.5K AMOLED display over a higher stated refresh rate on an LCD.
- You want the larger stated battery, faster rated charging or wired reverse charging.
- An ultrawide rear camera and OIS on the main camera matter to you.
- You value Xiaomi’s stated update commitment of 4 years of OS updates and 6 years of security updates.
Choose the OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite 5G if
- The lower price in the observed listing snapshot matters more than the Redmi’s additional hardware features.
- You prefer its stated 144Hz display refresh rate.
- You need microSD storage expansion and accept that the card shares a SIM slot.
