OnePlus claims the Nord Buds 3r deliver up to 12 hours of playback per charge and up to 54 hours with the charging case. The earbuds are rated IP55 for dust and water resistance, but the case is not. They work with Bluetooth devices, although some features require particular OnePlus phones, Android versions, or the HeyMelody app.
How long does the OnePlus Nord Buds 3r battery last?
OnePlus claims up to 12 hours of playback from the earbuds on a charge, or up to 54 hours total when using the charging case. These are OnePlus Test Laboratory figures, not guaranteed everyday runtimes. The tests used 50% volume, AAC mode, a temperature of 25°C, and default settings for other options; OnePlus says actual results vary with use and settings. The product page does not state when the tests were conducted. OnePlus India’s Nord Buds 3r product page lists the claims and conditions.
How much playback does a quick charge provide?
OnePlus claims up to 8 hours of playback after a 10-minute charge when the earbuds are used with the charging case. This is also a manufacturer laboratory figure; the product page does not specify a year for the test.

No. OnePlus rates the earbuds IP55 for dust and water resistance, but the rating does not cover the charging case. The rating is not evidence that the earbuds can be submerged or used for swimming. OnePlus also warns that resistance may decline as the product ages and that liquid or dust damage is not covered by warranty. Avoid treating the case as water-resistant unless its own rating is stated.
