How their processors and screens compare
Nord 5 lists the higher-tier chipset
OnePlus lists Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 for Nord 5, while realme lists Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 for P4 Pro. In 91mobiles’ reported Geekbench multi-core result, Nord 5 scored 5,094 and P4 Pro 3,556. Treat those numbers as one comparison-page result: the reviewed information does not establish standardized independent test conditions, and a benchmark score cannot guarantee how every app or game will feel.
If processor headroom is your priority, Nord 5 has the stronger listed chip family and the reported benchmark advantage. For everyday use, game performance, and sustained workloads, consider matched reviews and your own workload rather than assuming the chipset name or one test tells the whole story.

Both list up to 144Hz
The listed diagonals are close: 6.83 inches for Nord 5 and 6.8 inches for P4 Pro. Both are specified in the 144Hz refresh-rate class; realme also lists P4 Pro’s 1280 × 2800 resolution. Refresh rate and resolution do not, by themselves, establish brightness, color accuracy, or overall image quality. Check the display shape and handling in person if possible, since curved-versus-flat ergonomics may matter as much as the headline refresh rate.
Battery capacity and charging
realme specifies a 7000mAh typical battery capacity and 6830mAh minimum for P4 Pro. OnePlus lists 6800mAh for Nord 5 in India. Those figures give P4 Pro the higher stated capacity, but capacity alone does not prove longer real-world runtime; screen settings, signal conditions, software, and workload also affect battery life.
Both manufacturers list 80W wired charging. realme explicitly says the 80W adapter is included; OnePlus’s product page also lists an in-box charging adapter. The available specifications do not provide matched charge-time tests, so the shared wattage should not be read as proof that both phones charge at the same rate throughout a full charge.

91mobiles lists a 50MP main and 8MP ultrawide rear camera for Nord 5. realme’s specification names a 50MP Sony IMX896 main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), alongside an 8MP ultrawide. realme specifically documents OIS for its main camera; the stated pixel counts do not establish which phone takes better photos.
Both front cameras are listed at 50MP. realme specifies 4K recording at 60fps from the front camera. OnePlus lists the 50MP front camera, while 91mobiles reports 4K video capability for Nord 5; the available information does not establish a directly matched video-mode comparison. For camera quality, look for side-by-side sample sets taken in comparable lighting and with the same camera modes.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Software support: a stated OnePlus commitment
OnePlus India promises four Android version upgrades and six years of security updates for Nord 5. realme’s P4 Pro specification page identifies Android 15-based realme UI 6.0 but does not give a comparable support-duration promise. That is an evidence difference, not proof that realme will provide no updates: the reviewed page simply does not establish an equivalent term.
If you keep a phone for several years, weigh OnePlus’s explicit duration when comparing the models. Check realme’s current official support information before purchase if its update policy is central to your decision.

Price difference: the displayed figures are not a confirmed deal
At the time represented by 91mobiles’ comparison page, it displayed ₹45,000 for OnePlus Nord 5 and ₹28,999 for realme P4 Pro, with P4 Pro marked out of stock. These are volatile page figures—not verified checkout prices—and the listed storage configurations may not match. The apparent ₹16,001 gap is therefore not a confirmed saving or a reliable current price difference.
Before comparing value, check live stock and the same RAM and storage tier at retailers. Include bank offers or exchange discounts only if you qualify for them, and compare the final payable price rather than an unavailable or mismatched listing.
Quick Recap
Which phone should you choose?
- Consider OnePlus Nord 5 if its listed Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, OnePlus’s stated four Android upgrades and six years of security updates, or the specific model’s live same-configuration price best fits your priorities.
- Consider realme P4 Pro if its larger stated battery capacity, listed display specification, or live same-configuration price is more important to you. Its official specification also documents OIS on the main rear camera.
- Compare before deciding if camera results, long-session gaming, battery endurance, display handling, or total cost matters most. The specifications and comparison-page figures here do not provide matched hands-on testing for those questions.
