The Omega OCI64PP is a compact 60 cm, four-zone induction cooktop with a 2,200 W power limit and a 10 A plug connection. That makes its connection simpler than a high-powered hard-wired model where the kitchen is suitably set up, but it also means power is shared across zones. More importantly for shoppers, CHOICE lists it as discontinued and Andoo says it is no longer available, so treat new-unit availability as uncertain.
What the Omega OCI64PP offers
Omega’s archived Australian product listing describes the OCI64PP as a frameless black-glass cooktop with four cooking zones and touch controls. The manufacturer lists a 10 A plug connection and a 24-month parts-and-labour warranty. CHOICE’s public specifications similarly show four zones and a two-year warranty.
Its headline constraint is the 2,200 W maximum input in Omega’s instruction manual. This is a lower-current compromise, not a four-zone cooktop with unrestricted full power available to every zone at once.

How the 2,200 W power limit affects cooking
The manual’s guidance shows how the cooktop limits zone settings as more zones are used. It allows one zone at level 9; with two zones operating, each is limited to level 7. With three or four zones active, the maximum levels vary by zone, reaching levels 2, 3, 4 and 5 as listed in the manual. The practical implication is that using several zones together can restrict how much heat each can deliver.
#1 Best Overall
- PORTABLE INDUCTION BURNER: Duxtop induction cooktop uses 110/120 V 15 amp electrical outlet–standard in all North American homes. ETL listed and built to North American electrical standards. It is lightweight and compact for easy handling and storage
- Choose from 20 preset power levels (100 to 1800 W) and 20 preset temperature level settings (100 °F to 460 °F). With an 83% energy efficiency, induction burner is more efficient than traditional gas or electric stoves
- DIGITAL LCD SENSOR: Touch control panel: child safety lock keeps the cooking and timer settings from being accidentally changed once they have been set; fast boil button; keep warm button (for 1-30 minutes at 140 °F); up to 10-hour timer button
- Induction stoves rely on cookware to heat, so it’s essential to choose magnetic bottom cookware with a minimum diameter of 5 inches. Auto-pan detection will shut off automatically after 60 seconds if no cookware, or the incorrect cookware is detected
- Although induction itself is a noiseless process, there may be high pitched sounds from the cookware due to multiple layers of metals sandwiched together. Please allow the induction cooker to cool down before cleaning
Omega’s manual also gives indicative times for boiling one litre of tap water: on a 1,500 W zone, under five minutes at level 9 and under seven minutes at level 7; on a 2,000 W zone, under three minutes at level 9 and under six minutes at level 7. These are manufacturer figures, not independent test results, and Omega says results vary with cookware and starting water temperature.
Installation: check the cutout and ventilation first
The manual specifies overall dimensions of 590 × 520 × 60 mm and a building-in cutout of 560 × 490 mm. CHOICE lists rounded dimensions of 59 × 52 cm and installation dimensions of 56 × 49 cm. Measure the actual appliance and bench, and check the complete installation documentation before cutting or modifying a countertop.

- HIGH EFFICIENCY - ChangBERT Induction cooktop offers 9 preset power levels (200-1800W) and 18 preset temperature settings (120-460℉, 20F per level). With an 83% energy efficiency rating, the induction cooker is more efficient than traditional gas or electric stoves, providing quick heat-up and faster cooking times.
- CONSISTENTLY STABLE HIGH-POWER OUTPUT - Built for constant use, it features continuous-duty circuitry for non-stop cooking. The unique power control technology ensures stable high-power output, reduces the temperature of internal electronics, and facilitates low-noise heat dissipation, providing reliable cooking performance. This dependable performance sets it apart from others.
- LARGE COOKING AREA - Features an expanded magnetic coil design that optimizes the winding structure to enhance the transfer of electromagnetic energy directly to the cookware, significantly improving heating efficiency and ensuring more even heat distribution across the bottom of the cookware.
- NSF CERTIFIED & COMMERCIAL GRADE - UL commercial standard 197, completely ETL & NSF approved. It meets industry durability standards, passing a drop test with an impact of 1.5 ft lbs. Designed for large-volume usage, it is ideal for commercial and professional settings such as restaurants, industrial kitchens, and other catering services.
- EASY TO CONTROL & CLEAN - The control buttons with solid tactile response make operation intuitive and precise. With simple and clear display, the Key-Press-Control Panel provides clear visibility and easy control, even with gloves or wet hands. With no open flame or heating element, food does not burn onto the glass cooktop, making it easy to clean greasy dirt.
Although Omega promotes a 10 A plug connection, the manual says domestic wiring must suit the appliance load and requires installation by qualified personnel. It also gives ventilation clearances: a 5 mm opening below the benchtop across the cooktop width, a 10 mm opening in the kick plate, a 50 mm gap behind an oven or drawers, and at least 30 mm between an oven and the cooktop base. Do not block the ventilation or use adapters, reducers or branching devices. Follow the complete manual and applicable local rules; a plug does not remove the need to verify the installation.
Cookware, controls and safety features
Choose compatible pans
Use flat-based cookware with a magnetic base. Omega recommends checking a pan with a magnet; pans smaller than 140 mm may not be detected. Lift pans rather than sliding them over the glass to reduce scratching.

The manual also describes automatic shutoff behavior; consult it for the conditions that trigger shutoff and the correct operating procedure.

- 【CHECK YOUR PAN FIRST — MAGNET TEST + FLAT BASE 4 –10 IN】Works only with magnetic, flat-bottom cookware: cast iron, magnetic 430 stainless steel, or enameled iron. Fridge-magnet test on the flat bottom: clings = works; slides = no heat. Not for aluminum, copper, glass, ceramic, or non-magnetic 304 stainless steel. Measure the flat magnetic base, not the rim: 4 –10 in (10–26 cm). Round-bottom/warped pans or small magnetic dots won’t work. “E0” = pan mismatch, not a defect.

Simply plug it into any standard 110V/120V outlet and enjoy 1800W of powerful, efficient cooking wherever you go. Andoo’s page says the model is no longer available and displays five customer reviews, including buyer comments dated 2025. Those comments include positive remarks about ease of use and power sharing, as well as a report concerning scratching and small pots. These are individual customer accounts, not measured performance or reliability findings.

The OCI64PP may suit a kitchen where a compact, four-zone induction surface and the documented connection arrangement are appropriate, and where the owner accepts shared power when cooking on multiple zones. It is a poor fit if the requirement is strong simultaneous output across several burners. Before deciding, confirm that a unit is actually available, that the cutout and ventilation requirements can be met, and that the cookware is compatible. CHOICE calls it discontinued and Andoo marks it unavailable; the archived Omega listing is useful for specifications, not proof of current stock.
