OBS में loop stream के अलग-अलग videos का volume मिलाने के लिए हर audio source का स्तर Mixer में अलग से सुनकर समायोजित करें। शांत source के लिए Gain और अचानक तेज़ हिस्सों के लिए Compressor उपयोगी हो सकते हैं; Limiter peaks रोकता है। ये उपकरण अगली file के अनुसार अपने-आप clip-to-clip loudness normalize नहीं करते, इसलिए recording सुनकर जाँचें।
पहले पता करें कि audio किस source से आ रहा है
OBS में Audio Mixer Guide के अनुसार, पहले स्रोत का अपना स्तर जाँचें—जैसे app volume, device knob या physical mixer channel gain। फिर operating system और application के audio levels देखें; उसके बाद जरूरत हो तो OBS fader समायोजित करें।
- Loop चलाएँ और OBS के Audio Mixer में उन सभी sources की पहचान करें जिनसे videos का audio आ रहा है।
- यदि हर video अलग source से आता है, तो उन्हें अलग-अलग सुनते हुए उनके faders से आपसी स्तर मिलाएँ।
- यदि सभी clips एक साझा source में मिल रहे हैं, तो देखें कि playback app या source में हर clip का स्तर अलग बदला जा सकता है या नहीं। एक साझा audio signal को OBS के एक fader से clip-दर-clip नियंत्रित नहीं किया जा सकता।
OBS के उपलब्ध source और filter controls अगली file के हिसाब से अपने-आप normalization का दावा नहीं करते। साझा signal की स्थिति में अलग-अलग clip को स्वतंत्र रूप से मिलाने का तरीका यहाँ स्थापित नहीं है।
Peak meter के साथ सुनाई देने वाली loudness भी मिलाएँ
दो clips के peak meter समान दिख सकते हैं, फिर भी उनमें से एक ज्यादा तेज़ सुनाई दे सकता है। OBS का रंगीन peak meter क्षणिक सबसे ऊँचा स्तर दिखाता है; छोटी काली VU bar 300 ms पर integrate किए RMS का संकेत देती है, जो perceived loudness के अधिक करीब है। इसलिए केवल peak को देखकर फैसला न करें: दोनों संकेत देखें और clips के शांत तथा तेज़ हिस्से सुनें।

अंतिम stream या recording में 0 dBFS से ऊपर signal जाने पर clipping और distortion सुनाई दे सकती है। OBS processing के दौरान 0 dBFS से ऊपर floating-point signal संभाल सकता है, लेकिन इसका अर्थ यह नहीं कि अंतिम output को उस सीमा से ऊपर जाने देना सुरक्षित है।
Fader और filters का सही उपयोग

Live जाने से पहले यह जाँच पूरी करें
- हर संबंधित source के video के शांत और तेज़ हिस्से चलाएँ। Fader समायोजित करते समय peak meter और VU संकेत दोनों देखें।
- यदि कोई source कुल मिलाकर कमज़ोर लगे, तो पहले उसके device, app और operating system के playback levels जाँचें। जरूरत हो तो उस source में Gain लगाएँ।
- अगर उसी source के कुछ हिस्से अचानक तेज़ हों, तो Compressor आज़माएँ। यह loudness normalization नहीं है; यह threshold से ऊपर के हिस्सों को घटाता है।
- Compressor के बाद भी peaks रोकने की जरूरत हो तो Limiter को filter chain के आख़िर में रखें।
- OBS में recording बनाकर उसे सुनें। Clips के शांत और तेज़ passages जाँचें, ताकि वही output परखें जो दर्शक सुनेंगे।
