For buyers in India, the vivo T5x has the stronger listed battery, faster charging and higher dust-and-water resistance rating; the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite has an AMOLED display and an ultra-wide rear camera. The observed prices are close, but not a like-for-like deal: vivo’s official e-store showed ₹27,999 for 6GB+128GB, while 91mobiles listed Nothing’s 8GB+128GB at ₹28,200 on 11 September 2026. Nothing’s India page links to Flipkart but does not show an official price. Check current listings and exact variants before buying.
Nothing Phone (3a) Lite vs vivo T5x: at a glance
The key choice is between display and camera configuration on one side, and battery capacity, charging and durability ratings on the other. The specifications below come from manufacturer product pages; they do not establish which phone performs better in everyday use.

What is the price difference in India?
The observed vivo listing is ₹201 lower, but this is not a direct price comparison between matching configurations. vivo’s official e-store showed ₹27,999 for the T5x 6GB+128GB and displayed ₹45,999 as a reference price. The Nothing figure is ₹28,200 for 8GB+128GB on 91mobiles, whose page is dated 11 September 2026; it is a third-party listing, not a verified current Nothing India store price. Nothing’s India product page identifies the 8GB+128GB configuration and links shoppers to Flipkart without displaying a price.

Which phone has the better display?
Nothing lists an AMOLED panel with HDR10+ and adaptive refresh up to 120Hz. Its regional product page advertises peak brightness up to 3,000 nits. vivo lists a slightly smaller 6.76-inch LCD with a refresh rate up to 120Hz and 1,200 nits HBM brightness. The panel technologies differ, so a refresh-rate figure alone does not make the displays equivalent. The brightness figures are manufacturer specifications, not a side-by-side measurement under the same conditions.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How do the cameras differ?
Nothing lists three rear camera types: a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide and a macro camera specified for 4cm macro photography. vivo lists a 50MP Sony IMX852 main camera and a 2MP bokeh camera. On paper, the Nothing has the more versatile rear-camera mix for including ultra-wide scenes; vivo lists the higher-resolution front camera at 32MP versus Nothing’s 16MP. These specifications do not establish photo quality, portrait results or low-light performance.

Battery, charging and durability
vivo lists a 7,200mAh battery and 44W charging, compared with Nothing’s 5,000mAh and 33W. Nothing also claims up to 22 hours of YouTube playback and 16 hours of mixed use; those are company claims, not independent comparative results. Capacity and charging wattage do not by themselves predict how long either phone lasts or how quickly it charges in a particular situation.
vivo specifies IP68 and IP69, while Nothing lists IP54. These ratings should not be treated as a guarantee against water damage. vivo’s product page says, “This product is not a professional waterproof phone,” warns that liquid resistance can reduce with daily use, and says liquid damage is not covered under warranty. Confirm warranty terms and avoid deliberate water exposure.
Which one should you choose?
- Consider the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite if an AMOLED display and an ultra-wide rear camera matter most to you, and you prefer its listed software experience.
- Consider the vivo T5x if the listed larger battery, higher charging wattage, 32MP front camera or IP68/IP69 rating better fit your priorities, and you are comfortable with an LCD display and a listed 219g weight.
- Compare exact variants before paying. The observed Nothing price is for 8GB+128GB, while vivo’s ₹27,999 e-store offer is for 6GB+128GB. Compare matching RAM/storage if available, along with the current checkout price and warranty.
Neither the megapixel counts, processor clock speeds, battery capacity nor IP rating can settle questions about camera output, sustained gaming speed, real-world endurance or software preference. The specifications cited here are not a substitute for comparative hands-on testing.
