The Plus is listed with 50 W charging; the Phone (2a) is listed with 45 W. Both have a 5,000 mAh battery. The Plus also has a 50 MP front camera, compared with 32 MP on the Phone (2a). These are specification differences; they do not by themselves establish real-world charging times or which phone takes better photos.

Most headline display and rear-camera specifications match

Nothing lists the same 6.7-inch flexible AMOLED display, 120 Hz refresh rate, and 1,300-nit peak brightness for both models. The rear-camera setup is also listed identically: a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization and autofocus, plus a 50 MP, 114° ultrawide camera. The published comparison therefore does not show a rear-camera resolution upgrade for the Plus.

How much more does the Phone (2a) Plus cost?

On October 7, 2026, Nothing’s Europe comparison displayed a €399 starting price for the Plus with €429 crossed out, while Nothing Germany’s product page displayed €379 with €429 crossed out. Which model should you choose?

  • Choose the Phone (2a) Plus if its local price premium is worthwhile to you for the higher listed chip and graphics clocks, 50 W charging, or 50 MP front camera.
  • Consider the Phone (2a) if you do not need those listed differences and would rather pay less for a phone with the same stated battery capacity, display size and refresh rate, and rear-camera resolutions.

This is a choice based on published specifications, not independent performance or camera testing. Check the price and configuration available in your market before deciding.
