The Noble Audio FoKus Artemis is a premium wireless over-ear headphone whose unusual three-driver design and sound personalization aim to deliver an expansive, detailed listen. TechRadar described its event listening impression as “spacey” and “hypnotic”; that is a reviewer’s subjective reaction, not a measured verdict. The proposition is compelling if you value sound character, wired options and a replaceable battery, but the high price, fit and app experience deserve careful consideration.

What does the FoKus Artemis sound like?

Listening impressions are subjective, but independent coverage points to a consistent set of strengths: spacious presentation, clear vocal separation and impactful bass. At High End Vienna, TechRadar reported hearing clear, well-separated vocals, precise highs and impactful low end on Allie X’s “Black Eye.” It called the result an “incredible spacey, hypnotic sound.” That is an event listening impression, not a controlled comparative test. Read TechRadar’s report.

Tom’s Guide also praised the sound in its review. Its reviewer listened over Bluetooth using AAC and over USB-C with Qobuz, and found the personalized EQ brightened the treble and added a sense of space. Creative Bloq likewise described clear, separated vocals and a spacious presentation. These are individual listening judgments, not proof that every listener or source will hear the same result.

How the three-driver design works

Noble equips each earcup with three different driver types: a dynamic driver, a planar driver and a balanced armature. The company’s stated design rationale assigns the dynamic driver impact and low-frequency body, the planar driver speed, openness and upper-mid clarity, and the balanced armature high-frequency precision and detail. Noble’s product page describes those roles; the combination is a design choice, not evidence by itself that the headphone must sound better than a conventional design.

Personalized EQ and app reliability

Noble says its app uses Audiodo personalization to tailor EQ, and that settings are stored on the headphones. Tom’s Guide’s reviewer liked the resulting EQ, but reported app problems during that particular test: the app sometimes did not recognize the Artemis, identified it as another Noble product, and crashed during an update. After a Noble representative reportedly patched the iOS app, one of the reviewer’s two EQ profiles was duplicated. This is a report about that reviewer’s test and software state, not evidence that all users currently encounter the same behavior; app performance can change with updates. See Tom’s Guide’s review.

Comfort and build-related maintenance

Creative Bloq found the earcups snug and reported mild aching after prolonged listening, while noting that comfort is subjective. It reported a weight of 327g. A close fit may suit some listeners better than others, so trying the headphones on before committing is especially useful if you plan to wear them for long sessions. Creative Bloq’s review includes its fit impressions.

Noble Audio FoKus Prestige Encore The Best Truly Wireless Noise Cancelling Earbuds,Bluetooth in-Ear Headphones,Sound Personalization,10-Minute Fast Charge,Black
  • [Acoustic upgrade: speed and separation] The Fokus Prestige Encore moves to a three-way hybrid driver configuration featuring: 8mm dynamic driver for rich, authoritative bass. Dual Knowles balanced armatures for midrange clarity and texture. New 6mm planar magnetic driver to extend treble air, increase transient speed, and reveal microdetail.
  • [Wireless done right]The Encore runs on the Snapdragon S3 Gen 1 Sound Platform, supporting the latest generation of high-resolution codecs: aptX Lossless, aptX Adaptive, LDAC, AAC, and SBC. This allows listeners to stream in bit-perfect quality where supported, while Bluetooth 5.4, multipoint pairing, and TrueWireless Mirroring ensure stable connections and effortless switching between devices. For calls and conferencing, dual-mic cVc noise suppression reduces environmental noise without overly processing the natural tone of the voice, maintaining clarity in professional and casual settings alike.
  • [Longer listening, more comfort]The endurance with 65mAh cells in each bud and a 500mAh wireless charging case, offering up to 10 hours of playback (ANC off) or 7 hours (ANC on), with a total of 35 hours including the case. A 10-minute quick charge provides around 2 hours of listening, keeping users moving with minimal downtime. The housings and charging case are CNC-machined entirely from solid wood, not just a decorative plate, but full wooden construction. Each piece displays its own natural wood grain, ensuring that no two Encores look exactly the same. Combined with a smaller, lighter geometry, this makes for a premium finish and a secure, fatigue-free fit during long sessions.
  • [Smarter sound, tailored to the listener]Building on Noble’s integration of Audiodo Personal Sound in the Rex5 and Amadeus, the Encore offers refined per-ear calibration with on-device profile storage. After a one-time test, personalised frequency adjustments are written into the IEMs themselves, meaning your profile follows you across all devices — no app dependency once it’s set.

Two serviceability details stand out: Noble says the ear cushions attach magnetically and can be replaced, and the 600mAh battery is user-replaceable. These are manufacturer-documented features, not independent durability findings; the sources here do not establish compatible replacement-part listings or long-term repair costs.

Connectivity, features and battery claims

Noble’s current product page lists Bluetooth 6.0, LDAC, aptX Adaptive and aptX Lossless, plus USB-C audio and wired 3.5mm audio with the included cable. It also lists multipoint, adjustable active noise cancellation (ANC), transparency, spatial audio, seven microphones and an IP52 rating. These are manufacturer specifications, not independently verified measurements in the cited reviews. Codec names alone do not guarantee a particular listening path: the headphones, source device, software and connection method all matter. Tom’s Guide, for example, tested Bluetooth with AAC and USB-C with Qobuz; that does not establish that every phone or computer will use a higher-quality Bluetooth codec.

Noble advertises more than 55 hours of use with ANC off and more than 35 hours with ANC on, with charging in under 1.5 hours. These are the manufacturer’s estimates, not independently measured endurance results here. Forbes’ August 2026 launch coverage gave different earlier figures—up to 50 hours without ANC and six microphones—so the current Noble page is the appropriate reference for its presently advertised specifications. Forbes’ August 23, 2026 report reflects earlier coverage.

How much does the FoKus Artemis cost?

The price depends on market and timing, and the published figures are not interchangeable. Creative Bloq and TechRadar reported $899 in the US and £799 in the UK. Forbes listed launch pricing of $899, £799 and €949 in August 2026. Noble’s accessed en-bg storefront showed €794.95 and sold out at the time it was checked. Is the extra cost worth it?

The Artemis is easiest to justify if its particular mix of reported sound, personalization, connection options and replaceable battery matters more to you than finding the lowest-cost route to wireless ANC. It is a harder fit for a buyer who prioritizes proven app reliability, all-day comfort without a try-on, or value above specialist features. Its sound has earned enthusiastic subjective praise, but the cited coverage does not establish a universal category winner.

Tom’s Guide places it in a price neighborhood that includes the Bowers & Wilkins Px8 S2 and Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H95. Creative Bloq names the Sennheiser HDB 630, Bose QuietComfort Ultra Gen 2 and Sony WH-1000XM6 as less expensive alternatives. Those mentions are not a controlled head-to-head comparison. To decide among them, compare current local prices alongside sound character, ANC, long-session comfort, app and firmware behavior, your device’s codec support, battery claims, replaceable parts and weight.
