Why do some reports say “one million players”?
In its October 1 post, the developer separately reported over one million players since the 1.0 launch, alongside 1.3 billion zombies killed and over 22 million successful extractions. Those are developer-reported player and gameplay figures, not sales totals. A player count and units sold measure different things and should not be substituted for one another.
