Nintendo of America published an orchestral The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary medley on September 8, 2026. The arrangement is themed around the Triforce virtues—Wisdom, Power, and Courage—but Nintendo’s description does not identify the songs it includes. Watch Nintendo’s official video.
What Nintendo released
Nintendo describes the video as “an orchestral arrangement, specifically made for The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary.” The official description says it is a medley of various songs, framed by the Triforce’s Wisdom, Power, and Courage. It was published by Nintendo of America on September 8, 2026. See the official video and description.
Which songs are in the medley?
Nintendo’s official description does not name any of the component songs, and it provides no verified track list or sequence. That means listeners can enjoy the arrangement, but the available official information does not establish which Zelda themes appear or the order in which they are played.
How the Triforce shapes the anniversary theme
The three virtues—Wisdom, Power, and Courage—are the explicit organizing theme Nintendo gives for the arrangement. The description does not explain how particular musical passages correspond to each virtue, so assigning a section or song to one of them would go beyond what Nintendo has confirmed.

How it fits into Zelda’s 40th anniversary
Nintendo Australia places the performance within its 40th Anniversary Direct and says the anniversary marks 40 years since The Legend of Zelda was first released in Japan. Its page presents the Direct date as 09/09/2026 in the Australian local format; Nintendo of America’s video publication date is September 8, 2026. Those dates are presented by different regional sources and should not be conflated. See Nintendo Australia’s anniversary page.
