Nintendo’s official Family Computer & Nintendo Entertainment System photo book was reported on sale from October 2, 2026, at the Bonus Stage shop inside the Nintendo Museum in Kyoto, Japan. The reported edition is a square, slipcased hardcover with 168 pages of photographs; its price, current stock and availability beyond the museum shop have not been established.

What’s in the Family Computer & Nintendo Entertainment System photo book?

Reports describe a hardcover measuring approximately 30 cm by 30 cm, packaged in a slipcover, with 168 pages of photographs. The cover reportedly features game-box art, while the slipcover bears the system logo. These specifications come from reporting on the museum announcement rather than a directly retrieved Nintendo product page. Nintenderos’ report reproduces the museum’s announcement.

The photographs cover consoles, controllers, accessories and games. Reported preview subjects include Japan-market Famicom peripherals such as the Power Pad, R.O.B. and a keyboard, as well as comparisons of cartridges and circuit boards. The paired title reflects two regional names and releases: the Family Computer (Famicom) launched in Japan in 1983, and the NES followed in North America in 1985, according to the Computer History Museum.
