The Ninjutso Sora V3 is a strong wireless FPS mouse if you prefer a medium-sized, symmetrical shape and a claw grip. RTINGS’ September 18, 2026 review reports excellent tracking and exceptionally low wireless click latency. Its main drawbacks are a fit that favors claw grip, no Bluetooth or multi-device pairing, and a wheel without tilt or free-scroll. The V3 also weighs more than the Sora V2 in RTINGS’ comparison, so it is a structural and feature refresh—not an automatic upgrade.
Who should consider the Ninjutso Sora V3?
A good match for claw-grip FPS players
RTINGS describes the Sora V3 as a medium-sized symmetrical mouse particularly suited to claw grip, including for average-sized hands. Its rear-positioned hump supports that focused fit, but may be less comfortable if you prefer a broader range of hand positions or a more centered hump. RTINGS characterizes the mouse as especially strong for FPS gaming and reports accurate tracking across movement speeds and sensitivity settings. Those are lab-review findings, not a guarantee that every player will notice the same results. RTINGS’ Sora V3 review was published September 18, 2026, using test methodology v1.5.2.
Less suited to work across devices or command-heavy games
The V3 has no Bluetooth or multi-device pairing, which limits its convenience if you regularly switch one mouse between computers. Its scroll wheel has neither tilt nor free-scroll, and it has two side buttons. Those omissions are worth considering for wide spreadsheets or games that benefit from more side-button commands.
How does the Sora V3 perform?
RTINGS reports exceptionally low wireless click latency, excellent sensor latency, and accurate tracking. The included receiver supports the mouse’s maximum polling rate of 8000Hz, so no separate receiver purchase is needed to access that stated capability. A high polling rate is a specification, not a promise of a perceptible improvement for every player or setup.

The review’s assessment of the V3’s switches is more measured: it does not find the switch implementation delivers the same performance uplift as the wired Endgame Gear OP1 8k v2. The Sora V3’s case rests on a combination of wireless responsiveness, tracking, fit, and construction rather than a claim that every component leads its category.
What changed from the Sora V2?
The V3 retains the Sora V2’s medium-sized symmetrical shape but revises its internal structure, with the stated aim of reducing body flex. It also changes the sensor and main-button switches. RTINGS identifies the V3 sensor as the AIMNINJA 2 PRO 45K and its switches as Ninjutso SPDT HyperSwitch mechanical switches; the V2 comparison model used Omron optical switches. Ninjutso also advertises substantially longer battery life for the V3, but the available comparison does not establish a specific battery-life figure to rely on.

The weight and latency results make the generation choice less simple than “newer is better.” The V3 is 2.1 g heavier in RTINGS’ default-weight comparison, while the V2 has advantages in the tested sensor-latency and wired-click-latency measures. The V3 instead brings its structural revision, updated sensor and switches, included 8000Hz-capable receiver, and longer advertised battery life. What does the Sora V3 cost, and is it available?
Ninjutso’s official Products – Page 2 catalog listed the Sora V3 at $119.99 and marked it sold out when accessed October 7, 2026. Choose the Sora V3 if you want a light, symmetrical wireless FPS mouse built around claw grip and value the RTINGS-reported tracking and wireless responsiveness. Look elsewhere if you need Bluetooth, easy multi-device switching, wheel tilt or free-scroll, or a shape that accommodates more grip styles. If you already own a Sora V2, the V3’s construction and component changes may matter more than its generation number: the V2 is lighter in RTINGS’ tested comparison and retains some latency advantages, while the V3 offers a revised structure, updated internals, and its included high-polling receiver.
