What NinjaOne announced in February 2025
NinjaOne said it secured $500 million in Series C extensions at a $5 billion valuation. The company named ICONIQ Growth and CapitalG as the leads; it described CapitalG as Alphabet’s independent investment fund. The announcement concerned an extension to the company’s Series C, not a new product launch. NinjaOne’s February 24, 2025 announcement.
How the valuation changed in 2026
On June 9, 2026, NinjaOne announced more than $400 million in further Series C extensions and a $12.3 billion valuation. The company described this later financing as secondary, so it should not be treated automatically as more than $400 million of new operating capital for NinjaOne. NinjaOne’s June 9, 2026 announcement.
NinjaOne said the 2026 transaction included Wellington Management, Teachers’ Venture Growth, affiliated funds of BDT & MSD Partners, Sequoia Capital, ICONIQ, Hedosophia, NEA, Washington Harbour Partners, CapitalG, and Pinegrove Opportunity Partners. The company also said co-founders Sal Sferlazza and Chris Matarese retained majority control. These details are from the company’s announcement.

Other performance claims in the 2026 announcement
NinjaOne reported nearly 70% year-over-year growth in 2025. It also cited an IDC Business Value Snapshot sponsored by NinjaOne, document US54520326-BVS, dated May 2026. According to the company’s summary of that study, the modeled business value included a 720% three-year return on investment, a four-month payback period, and $1 million in annual benefits per 5,000 managed endpoints.
Those figures are results from a sponsored study as reported by NinjaOne; they should not be read as guaranteed outcomes for every customer. The company’s release also quoted CEO and co-founder Sal Sferlazza describing NinjaOne’s ambition to become a “control plane for unified IT.” That is the company’s strategic positioning, not an independent assessment of its market position.
